New DLSS Version 310.5

Featured Replies

Per some users in the official forums, ghosting in night lighting has completely gone for them and by day is drastically reduced.

I guess one has to decide for themselves based on what they see on their own set up as what others see on theirs is irrelevant.

It's part of Nvidia's DLSS 4.5 they just released at CES. Two new presets (L, M) Both hit performance quite hard on 4xxx series and below compared to Preset K (DLSS 4). Preset M is meant to

When using FSR3, are these DLSS files still required?

Hi,

Has anyone enabled Frame Generation x6 with DLSS 310.5?

I can’t.

Just to x4!

Just completed a flight with Nvidia 591.74 , DLSS 310.5, DX 12, Frame Gen, and DLSS antialiasing set to Quality.  I have a 4090, and in the FlightFX Citation X I had great performance.  The Primus 2000 screens were all clear and sharp, and I didn't notice any ghosting at all.

Per some users on Reddit, this updated version still shows ghosting on glass cockpits

Well, that would mean staying in TAA for me. Thanks for the confirmation!

60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking.

very nice.

I prefer the brute force performance hungry sharpness of good ole TAA in VR.

DLSS makes the image look a little "chippy" imo even on a Display Port powered image.

I could only imagine it looking worst on top of the Quest 3's already chippy image compression.

The TAA performance tax is totally worth it to me.

Well, but you are aware that the DLSS files do absolutely NOTHING regarding FSR?

I used DLSS FG mod for many months, this morning I tried to the new DLSS files and DAA, but the ghosting is still there, especially if you are flying in the clouds (but I never tried different presets). The FSR3 works much better, thank you AMD from my RTX 3080 🙂

No, but you have those files in your content directory and you can use the newer version if you decide to go back with DLSS super resolution and DLSS FG, or use a mixed solution.

Does this stuff actually do anything vs default?

Has anyone measured a change in fps or vram?

Ryan,

Its no different then updating your video card driver.

Every one gets different results and at times a new drivers can really screw up your system.

The DLSS Swapper is great because you can revert back if needed.

My system is working so well right now, I have not updated the DLSS and video drivers in a while.

I also use TAA now. See no reason to change at this point.
