You just need to run the app when you want to switch the versions, in case you want to try a different one, and whenever a new Sim Update comes out, because that will default the sims DLSS drivers back to what the sim ships with.

Previously I just couldn’t take the ghosting in numbers (speed tape, entering altitudes and all that) but I really liked the DLSS look when you look into the distance. No shimmering and so on. The ghosting was just too much to bear though. Now… things are more interesting because while there is still some ghosting, it’s vastly reduced and just about tipping into bearable for me. And DLSS does look better than TAA when you aren’t looking at fast moving stuff. I’m going to try a few flights over the next few days to see where I land with this. My thoughts exactly!

January 6Jan 6 Ok my unofficial results... the ghosting on the G3000 in the 2024 default TBM is slightly better with this. I used preset L. It's still pretty ugly but I'll try it as it does appear to decrease vram usage compared to TAA (2d mode). I'm excited to try this new file in VR. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

What did you find with that? 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen

Hi Ryan, Just wanted to check if your Frame Multiplier in settings shows 2X? I am getting amazing results with this new 4.5 with TAA on a 4070tiSuper but thought the Multiplier may have changed to 4X

The 4x-6x is for 5000 series GPUs. You can read the Nvidia post here - https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/news/dlss-4-5-dynamic-multi-frame-gen-6x-2nd-gen-transformer-super-res/ No mention of 4000-series GPUs for any Framegen improvements. 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen
January 7Jan 7 Ok Sorry I now downloaded the newest ones, and got the latest version of Swapper. Everything works now but I'll test tomorrow Edited January 7Jan 7 by mikegrr
January 7Jan 7 So far most "comparison" videos either focus on FPS differences or pan around to fast to show any significant differences. Here is one that actually freezes things occasionally to provide a better look..... We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.
