  1. Even Victoria ??? For shame! The world has held great Heroes, As history-books have showed; But never a name to go down to fame Compared with that of Toad The clever men at Oxford Know all that there is to be knowed. But they none of them knew one half as much As intelligent Mr. Toad! The animals sat in the Ark and cried, Their tears in torrents flowed. Who was it said, "There's land ahead?" Encouraging Mr. Toad! The Army all saluted As they marched along the road. Was it the King? Or Kitchener? No. It was Mr. Toad! The Queen and her Ladies-in-waiting Sat at the window and sewed. She cried, "Look! who's that handsome man?" They answered, "Mr. Toad."
  2. Wind in the Willows , my favorite book as a kid. What is world was a hedgehog? I never knew. Now I do.

You could fly South from Ukiah to Healdsberg, and continue on as above to Sacramento and so forth past Yosemite Valley and continue to Reno.
  6. I would install AddonLinker (it's on flightsim.to). You can then click anything in or out of your community folder. at 0:50 in the video you choose if you have 2020 or 2024.
  7. In the long video way above, he starts it with mixture cut off (here)? With one of the navigation options, you can create your own waypoint along the magenta line a given number of miles that you dial in with knobs. Old school below. The Mhz and Khz knobs are separate, not concentric. Which is easier to control. There's a "hide vintage" slider to cover the ADF stuff over on the right with a glovebox.
  8. Maybe he has a small band of elves to help him.
  9. I did a test shot thru my telescope, pointed at the zodiac. There's a fleet starships resembling a nasty scorpion!
  10. America's first coin printed by congress, 1787. Designed by Ben Franklyn. With a funny on the back, for some odd reason. Sun. Dial. Fugio. (In other words Time saying "I fly".

The dish ran away with the spoon. But later on, the dish asked, "Who was that ladle I saw you with last night"?

At a Sunday School picnic in the park, I saw a sign on the condiments table reading: “Please take only what you need.” Wow, thanks, I now have a great new table!
  15. My PCL tracks fine in daytime, but not as well in the dark evening. In my case the front wall, ceiling, and side walls of my PC closet are well lit, but the floor was not. This degraded tracking at night. So I just bought a cheap led lamp and mounted it pointing to the floor. Now it tracks perfect at night. I happened to buy this one because of it's long narrow lamp head, flexible arm, on/off/dim/color control up near the lamp, and how it mounts. But that clamp mount may not be right for your PC area. It was for mine. I have a book shelf about 18" to my right. I clamped this to the bottom shelf which is near the floor. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BB5ZBT42
  16. This was published on YT about 15 minutes ago. (note: he is using only one base station, that is all that is needed if you aren't running and jumping around).
  17. By the way, when I started MSFS2024 on Monday night, it would not connect. But Verify and then Windows reboot cured that problem immediately. Verify covers a multitude of sins.
  18. California here, no problems connecting Monday evening 10PM Pacific time (about 6:00 UTC Tuesday) and no problem since then. I am connected and flying right now. I did not try to fly anytime on Sunday Pacific time, so it may have been down here then, I don't know. Store version: always try a "verify and repair" (3 dots | manage | files | verify and repair). Which should take less time than 1 minute to do. Then reboot Windows (which takes longer of course).

If you find out about terrible weather somewhere in the world and fly nearby, it could be that the local AM and FM stations are giving out warnings and news from time to time.

An app by FlyingWhileBald which can tell where you are currently flying in the world and present a list of nearby FM and AM band radio stations Before loading a flight... Alt Enter to windowed mode to see your desktop. Click the FlyRadio icon on desktop, the app will open and show no "viable stations". Start a flight, Fly Now Example, departure Salinas destination Watsonville, Calif., app will change to show: The station list will change continually on a longer flight. The app has icons for volume, stop/start, etc. https://flightsim.to/addon/48145/fly-radio
