Me and my wife like hiking and 4WD in the national forest land. But we've never done anything serious. In fact we chickened out in Death Valley because the dryness and temps are just evil and there aren't rivers and tree lines to orient yourself. It looks the same in all directions. I did not have this issue when I tried just now, but I have the Amsim, not the Atelic LPMA. There is a bump on the start of ry23 but it's not bad unless you go off the side of the pavement. I recall when the Iberia WU came out in the era of msfs2020, Amsim had this on sale in marketplace, and I bought it, and then realized that Amazon had made their own bespoke version with the update. So I always had to disable the Amazon version.

I have no clue as to which sim vonduck has a problem with. In both 2020 and 2024 msfs, I had/have to do things to make LPMA work. The trick in msfs2024 is to go to My Library and search for Madeira and for LPMA to see if you have 2 versions and disable one of them. There is no My Library in 2020 so the method is similar but different.

I have 32:9 1440p monitor (49"). The number of total pixels is 7,372,800 which is twice the number of a normal 16:9 1440p monitor. But a normal 16:9 4K monitor has 8,294,400 pixels which is a bit more than mine. I run LOD's of 130, DLSS Quality anti alias, and High End display preset. I would go to my library and change the downloaded ones to "streamed". To save time. If I click on AOL to remove everything, msfs2024 loads in about 1 minute 30 seconds. It takes about 2:40 minutes with everything restored by clicking on AOL. (486 GB of "community" addons).
