The issue was no steering wheel, brake pedals, or rear view mirrors. AI doesn't use them anyway, but a human driver overriding the AI would need them. But this is a cab, so there is no driver only passengers. I'm not taking any side in this issue.

Take a look at my specs. I run double wide 32:9 1440p or Pimax Crystal Light VR. One is only slightly less than 4K (32:9 monitor) and one is delivering even more pixels than 4K (PCL VR). My card is only 12 GB. No problem at all running like this. I have all the horsepower that I need.

Nvidia app does not replace Nvidia control panel. They both can be used at the same time, no problem at all. After installing Nvidia app, go to the MS store and download NCP. Easy 2 minute job. In 2D, I use NCP to enable Nvidia surround. I can also use the Nvidia app at the same time to do anything at all.

Another hoot would be a young man about 11 years old who wakes up at night and wants a Jumbo Jack Hamburger. He sneaks down the stairs and uses his phone to call a selfie cab and away he goes. What fun to punch the touch the screen to make the cab do strange things. Wheeeeee !

Impressive. But it does not improve my life. A cab with a real driver is something I would rather experience. Except for the novelty. Another enjoyable novelty transport would be a horse and buggy, or a rickshaw.

Type "dlss5 msfs" in youtube search bar. The results over multiple video reviews with DLSS5 are pretty graphics but with a huge drop in fps.

I don't use preset L or M. I use K. K is the happy fps setting. I'll let those with expensive 5090s use M.

I have a 4070 (not Super) 12 GB. I run two monitors joined together with Nvidia Surround, both monitors are 1440p. The number of pixels: Standard 1440p (16:9): 2560 × 1440 (~3.69 million pixels) Double-Wide 1440p (32:9): 5120 × 1440 (~7.37 million pixels) <this is me Standard 4K (16:9) 3840 × 2160 (~8,29 million pixels) So, I am running almost the same as a 4K single wide monitor. I run DLSS Quality with no issues. DLSS FG is set at 2X (AMD FG is poor quality compared to Nvidia DLSS FG). My monitor is 165 hertz. 165 divided by 4 is 42fps. I lock fps (maximum framerate setting) at 21 in msfs settings and fps reads out at 42. Solid. It does not waver during a flight more than 1 or 2 fps. I get no hesitation or stutter when panning views. 42 is not bad when it is locked in at a number relating to monitor display hertz. I do not have and I do not use Gsynk or Fsynk. I don't use the Nvidia app. But if you do install it, Nvidia control panel will be removed automatically. So, just download Nvidia control panel from MS store and you have it back. And then you can use both the Nvidia app and Nvidia control panel at the same time with no issues. I have done that for about a year with no issues. I then removed Nvidia app because I have no use for it. I need nvidia control panel in order to use Nvidia Surround to make 2 monitors lock together as 1 (without bezel distortion).
