Anyone else getting video adverts start up when browsing AVSIM lately? PIA. Flying along, browsing AVSIM then all of a sudden, some bloke starts yelling about vacuum cleaners lol. Jase

Just a thought bubble. Some devs have a neat feature allowing you to manually adjust the "External Wear" on their aircraft. I wonder if they could ever look at a similar feature for cockpit wear and tear....... Jase

Not necessary. I have never done that and each SU has installed just fine. I have lost count how many additional files I have in my addon linker folder. I also use the latest DLSS files with the swapper and they didn't change either. Everything was where it needed to be. Jase

This is a great result mate. You'll really like 2024. Tinker a bit, spend some time to get your settings right and enjoy. Jase

2024 runs really well. Whether it's IFR, VFR or back country flying, 2024 is a great place to be. Jase

Was hoping for Toliss A340 compatibility with EFIS, FCU, ECAS and MCDU. Soon hopefully. Jase

Yes, correct. I'm enjoying it in 2024. I remember making so many plastic models of this with my old man. Great to be able to fly it in the sim. Looks great, sounds great and maybe the systems side of it will get corrected in 2024 down the track. Jase

I love 2024. I think someone mentioned earlier about 2020 using the same PG as 2024. That is the case I believe but it still has those 2d trees, lack of new vegetation and those mountains and cliff faces still look like green and black molten lava. 2024 is the way to go. It's new tech and devs are slowly backing off of 2020 which we all thought would be the case at some point. Don't get me wrong though, I loved 2020 at the time and got max enjoyment out of it.

Can't go back to 2020 after all the extra immersion and optimized goodness of 2024. In fact, I uninstalled 2020 four days after released and never looked back. In particular I just love the cockpit ray tracing, streaming system, along with cliffs and rivers now looking more life like than ever. Just brilliant. All the airliners and amazing utillity addons such as ATMOS, Chaseplane, FSRealistic etc are now available and working wonderfully well. It's good, it's very very good, it's the latest and where the future is. Jase

Grabbed it today with the discount as a FSRealistic Pro customer. Was a few bucks to go to + for 2024. Seamlessly loaded into the sim and works really well. Glad to have this back for 2024. Jase

I tend to agree with this. From time to time, I find a few annoying scenery glitches. But the good things far outweigh the bad things. Life is too short to be focused on the little things so get out there and explore the beautiful, good things that MS/Asobo has given us. After all, you could still be flying around in FSX/P3D. Chin up and enjoy your flights. Jase
