After their fiasco with the A330 CEO, I thought the A340 would be better since they are pared with Toliss. Before the release, there was so much hype and activity from Aerosoft and than the plane as released and Aerosoft went back to their cave. Barely any updates and barely to no communication from them. And I do not want even mention A330 NEO.

One example is that they are relying on the cockpit light mod instead of fixing it themselves. They are even suggesting to download it. The mod is great but that should not be the case

Scam is a strong word, but it is also true that their... "updates" are so minor that hardly anything has changed that can be easily noticed.

I do not think Scam is a strong word after I bought that trash A330 CEO which is completely abandoned.

I am quite happy with the products I bought from Aerosoft. And that was quite a few over many years.

I can't argue with you about the A330 CEO scam or debacle, but I have to push back and disagree about their A340. Their first update fixed the A340 cockpit lighting issue. I never used any mod to address that issue. They recently released another update. I've flown the plane several times on 12, 14, 18-hour flights and had not one issue. The system depths and performance are remarkable. So, I'm not sure where you feel that they scammed you. If you're having any pacific problems with their A340, why do you list them and make us all aware of them. Because it's been operating great for me. You should think about your words carefully before posting on public forum. Unless you're just trolling for responses.

Totally agree. I've had the aircraft since launch and not aware of any lighting mod required for it. The Toliss/AS A340 is reliable for me, works great, no complaints and happily waiting for GSX to updated for it along with more Winctrl hardware. So far, the EFIS, MCDU, FCU and Throttles work with SimApp Pro with the other hardware gradually being rolled out.

Version 1.04 was literally released yesterday. It's not perfect but I find it to perform alright. I too haven't had any problems with cockpit lighting.

I am on the same boat as you but i got the earlier P3D version which they also patched 1 or 2 times then completely abandoned it. It did fly but had so many problems i just gave up on it.

Aerosoft, unfortunately, never again. They're dragging Toliss's name in the mud currently with that behaviour.

I would not call it scam.

Especially not the Toliss A340.

But Aerosoft is one of these dinosaur relicts of FSX/P3D days who have a hard time to keep up with the modern sim and community.

Not to say that there own developed products do not have a good quality since many years, beside a few exceptions.

But maybe there other sim branches running very good, so that they can neglect the flightsim development, I don't know. And the 400.000€ of german tax money will still help them also for a while 🤑

No, it's Toliss fault alone.

Long before the release it was already clear, that Aerosoft is not a company I would partner with.

I have to agree it's a shame with how the business is changing you would have thought Aerosoft would have made a really BIG effort to have made their first partnership with Toliss a new chapter... At least make an effort to admit their textures and modelling are sub par and try and to make an effort to tell us when they can address this.

The systems from Toliss are fantastic and it could be a great plane but I just find I don't fly it very often.

I think they should have partnered with iniBuilds personally their texturing is un matched in my opinion.

My friend, not to be rude but are you blind? Fixed the lights? Download the mod and see for yourself what it really should be especially when turning on the dome light intensity. The mod fixes it. All Aerosoft did is slightly tweak it to be 10% better in the so called updates. That's the issue with Aerosoft, they don't fix, they just half a*s it. Toliss part is amazing yes. But the Aerosoft part is another story. I thought they learned their lesson from A330 but they did not. Their texturing is worse than the A330 ceo they did. That is not even including the external model. If not for Toliss, this would be another A330
