Welcome to the Synaptic A220 - Releases next week on the MP
Good for you. I, unlike many others, have not had any performance problems whatsoever which is what I was originally afraid of (so that's great I suppose). But I have found seemingly random glitches that result in having to reload the plane completely to resolve. Fortunately, on one attempt when I did actually make it to the skies I encountered no glitches on that flight. The APU issue was partially my fault, but still a glitch. I set my payload but apparently must have not successfully clicked to actually load the payload, hence why the APU would not start. However, once I saw I had no fuel and did load the fuel the APU would still not start.

Welcome to the Synaptic A220 - Releases next week on the MP
I'm foolish for buying this. Been sitting on the ground for an hour dealing with glitch after glitch. When all seems to be going well I end up with FMS FAIL. So far I've had APU startup glitches, FMS fail entering the flightplan when there's a discontinuity, and then just random FMS FAIL for fun.

Welcome to the Synaptic A220 - Releases next week on the MP
Yeah, I'm going to hold off on this. Some bugs for a new release are normal, but this appears to approach dumpster fire levels of bugginess. I'm super disappointed because I was really looking forward to this one.

Aerosoft is a big scam
So far all I've seen is that the flood lights are wrong (and need to be fixed with a mod) and the textures aren't good. Trying to understand how that's a scam. To be fair inibuilds has had some issues (especially at release) with some of their products which scared me off from the A340 (I still have VRAM/performance problems with the L1011, which I keep in the hangar). I would rather have systems depth and decent performance over flood lights and textures.

Aerosoft is a big scam
Version 1.04 was literally released yesterday. It's not perfect but I find it to perform alright. I too haven't had any problems with cockpit lighting.

Second After Citation X
It really depends what you're looking for. I had the FSW Learjet 35 before the Citation X and really like the analogue gauges and vintage feel to it. It's also a darn solid product from FSW with many GPS options. I really want to like the Falcon 50 and had the FSW version in P3D. But I really am not a fan of the GNS-XLS because it does not seem polished enough. The FSW version in P3D had some different addon GPS options available.

MSFS2024 career - VNAV vs ATC :-(
Cancel IFR and fly it as VFR and you shouldn’t lose points as long as you use atc to contact tower/traffic. I know this isn’t realistic but ATC is a disaster and they shouldn’t penalize you for how incompetent it can be. I got dinged once for landing lights not being on because I was so close to the airport yet I wasn’t even below 10,000 ft yet because of how long ATC took to have me begin my descent.

Aerosoft CRJ V 2.1.1. Two Flights. Two Simulators. Two CTD’s
I'll let you guys know in 3 or so months when they finally update the Flight Sim marketplace version.

No CRJ Update In The Market Place ??
So is this update not coming at all for MP buyers?

Spad causing stutters?
Yes this can happen and I believe it’s related to the logging/monitoring of LVARs and other variables (LVARs bridge). There is a way to set it to be less resource intensive in the configuration file though I don’t remember what setting it is exactly. The other option is to let it load this after about 10 or so minutes the stuttering will stop.

FSElite's MSFS 2024: First Look
Ummm mouse acceleration being broken is a common complaint in MSFS2024??? I cannot stand it right now and until it's fixed I'm sticking to 2020. My advice is to have patience and let the sim mature. It took over a year for MSFS2020 to even get to a point where decent addon aircraft were released. This sim is basically releasing with them. There is a lot of potential here and I think it will shape up much quicker than MSFS2020 did. I'm not thrilled about some of the GUI changes as I am of the opinion of if it isn't broken why fix it. But it's something I can live with but not love. Long story short is it's not horrible and it's not great. Give it some time, which is never the popular answer.
