Took the new CRJ for a flight this morning (KPDX/KABQ) to try out the new 2024 beta, .12. About one third through the flight it did a CTD.  Oh well, sez I…it’s a beta.  Turn around and load up same plane, same flight in 2020.  CTD just 2 miles before TOD.  Two flights, two CTD.  Different sims.

Anyone else seeing spurious CTD with the new Aerosoft release?

Never had a CTD with the CRJ in 2020. I saw the available update to 2.1.1 but think I will hold off for now and wait for more news.

4 different flights after the update, 2 in SU2 and 2 in SU3Beta, no CTD here, all good.

Never once had a CTD with any version of the CRJ.

Are you using third-party scenery for those airports/areas? Maybe that's causing the crash?

I’m not on the beta anymore, so I can’t comment on that. I’ve had the CRJ since forever and never had a CTD. Having said that I’ve only done 2 flights with the new FDE (which is fantastic btw). Hope you get things sorted out.

Maybe take a look at your event viewer and see what's causing the crash.

I’ve never had any CTD issues with the CRJ as well.

Thank you for the confirmations. I too had NEVER had a CTD in the CRJ until today and I’ve been flying it in one form or another in one sim or another for years now.  I will take heed of all the good suggestions posted here and see what I can see!

Are you on Steam or XBox.

Been having ctds for the last couple days.

They come and then go away and nothing has changed.

We keep blaming add-ons, but I think it's MSFS or in my case Steam causing all this problem

MS Store, and I too have had a lot of CTDs the past 10 days or so but I was on SU 3 Beta .10 and that explained much.  😎

If you come across anything in your investigation please share and I will do likewise.

I would also do a uninstall and reinstall of your navdata. Navigraph had some issues in their latest release. if you're crashing at the same point, could be a bad way point. They since updated the latest release.

Epilogue:  Just completed another flight of similar distance and duration (KBAB/KDEN).  Updated Navigraph and that was all.  Flight proceeded as expected to a full stop landing, NO CTD.

Just flew PHL-PVD in 2020 with the new update. No problems.
