sounds silly, for me around Zurich LSZH, trees mixed with photogrammetry is the culprit, since I set Trees to medium all is fine, SU4 Beta. I don't know it's the same problem for you if you are flying high, I was low. Just try. McDan out

It's really not that of a big deal... 1-install the initial msfs2020 2-start the install of the packages of msfs2020, hit pause after, let's say 3gb, close msfs2020 install 3-start the MD11 installer 4-right click on the msfs box and choose your msfs2024 community folder, install (it's even described in the installer) 5-enjoy the not supported md-11 in msfs2024 6-deinstall the started but not finished msfs2020 install Took me about 3 minutes total...sorry bragging...about 5 minutes 😎 McDan out

Another possible solution for this "dead horse". Yesterday I installed new GPU drivers and something went bad...I loaded into Japan Osaka and it was sound crackling and stutter fest...do mind, before my performance was smooth and very good. SU3 So I started to investigate, I found with gpu z, that my RTX4090 was running at PCIE 8x not 16x....I have no idea how it happend, I dont think it was the driver update, but anyway, after setting PCIE from Auto, back to 16x in my Bios, I was back at 16X 4.0 under load, and voila everthing back to normal... just another thing to check...PCIE lanes usage. I also think GSX is a good program, yes there are some problems, but mainly because of other factors (Scenery, Afcads,etc) for me it works 95% perfect. McDan out

Thanks to a tip from Noel, I just found out, that it must be aircraft related, I could not get the "bug" reproduce with the CRJ550 for example, will investigate further...

Same flight with a reload from main menu, performance from 58 fps to 45 fps...just by going back to the main menu. @ttbq1 Please try to disable rbar, (I know, it sounds counter-productive) in my case it helps tremendously with landing stutter. "Rbar stutters" likely refers to Resizable BAR (ReBAR) causing stuttering in games or applications. ReBAR is a feature that allows the CPU to access the GPU's entire memory space, potentially improving performance. However, it can sometimes lead to stuttering, especially on certain hardware configurations or when VRAM usage is high. Btw: I also have the 9950x3d, 64gb ram, rtx 4090, very happy with performance, just flew lszh to lppt with atc traffic everything, stable frames without stutters, it's a simmers dream come true...OP please find someone who can help you setting up your system to run optimal.

Just a hunch, but I had freezes with the newest Nvidia drivers, but on rtx 4090, uninstalled it with ddu, reverted to older release...all good.

sorry to resurrect the dead horse, but I found also a possible cure for the problem... I got the 9950x3d and tuned my system this week, its always the same, chasing the cinebench points and all that stuff again... So I pushed my undervolting hard, something like -30 for ccd0 -25 ccd1, system performed topnotch, also passed most of the stability benchmarks...BUT! In MSFS2024 I started to get those noise cracklings and stutters...so I set back my settings to -20/-15 and behold everything is fine and perfect again...I can reproduce this behavior without problem. So another Idea, check your undervolting if you have done one...don't use my numbers, every system is different. McDan out
