  1. Unfortunately Aerosoft didn't shine well with their A330 when it was released for P3D. It is still very buggy but you can fly from point A to B. The lateral tracking sometimes can be bit off. VNAV is also bit wonky in places. I have very little time in their A330 primarily because aerosoft never bothered to fix it and then abandoned it completely. Personally it is not worth 70 Euros.
  2. 2020 is not going for me yet - But it is likely I'll swap to 2024 once I get my hands on my new PC build.
  3. This new update is hit or miss, but for some people (including myself) this update has literally wrecked the A350 making it unusable with terrible performance and stuttering. The last version before v1.0.8 was absolutely perfect and was joy to fly on, with 1.0.9 it is no fun. I don't know how inibuilds does testing of their potential updates before releasing it and whether they look at this or just simply release it knowing the bugs. It is like I am paying full £70 to be a beta tester for them. Absolutely ridiculous!
  4. For me on 2020 - A350 performs reasonable, So far have only encountered one WASM crash and other then that it is fun to fly. New patch 1.0.8 has fixed some of known issues but that does not mean it is error free. Every time inibuilds does a patch on this, it breaks something. That is the standard with inibuilds products these days - you pay them to be a beta tester for their products. This A350 had so much potential yet here we are - 3 months into release and 8 patches already with features still missing or broken.
  5. So I installed this last night as there was a update onto marketplace, Do we know what is included in this?
  6. Yeah that's actually not that bad so we should be able to install third party liveries from various sources. Inibuilds has several of these on their forums
  7. I don't care about future updates (For P3D it is not going to happen and I accept that) but my point is that I should be able to continue to use the product that I paid for. I did not get those products for free nor PMDG has done any favours to me. When you think about it I have spent in excess of 100s of dollars my hard earned cash for these, I very least expect them to allow us to continue the use the product/continue to allow us install their inhouse liveries. Don't even get me started about working them for free - They have made a lot of money in last couple months/years by selling MSFS products, Hence why their attitude towards legacy products and their customers.
  8. From what I can recall, If you select a starting location as active runway then it loads with engines running as well as flaps set to 5 by default. You still would have to configure fuel and weights as well as FMC set-up. Loading at gate loads in a cold and dark state by default. You could potentially try to create a panel state at a gate then save it to use for future flights (You can save it via FMC or EFB I think), it does not take long and it is much easier to do it yourself and set the aircraft how you want it every time you fly next. I don't think iFLY has created any panel states by default.
  9. Read again - OC2 will cease to function after 30th June.
  10. Did you read the PMDG post fully? It clearly says the OPS 2 will cease to function - meaning the only liveries available will be third party, even that I don't know how that will work as you still require OPS to install liveries. I don't care about future updates - I know that is not going to happen but they should have left the OPS 2 for those who wanted to stay on their P3D products. What if I have to reinstall PMDG products after June 30th, I would be to install using the default installers but no liveries will be available. Also there are various reasons why someone would stay on P3D for once - it is not justifiable from developers to take away the whole thing. In other businesses if you do that - customers can sue the owners. Having said that I am not going to give PMDG a single penny moving forward.
  11. Yeah that should not be a problem - I should have put 30th June in first place.
  12. I don't know if you all have seen the latest post from PMDG - but apparently PMDG ops 2 to have reduced functionality from 30th June 2025 for P3D meaning no access to inhouse liveries or updates. Another good reason I am not going to invest in PMDG moving forward even in MSFS.
  13. No one is asking/forcing anyone to get MSFS - it is just a suggestion to OP as to where they can get the better quality 787 and how to best utilize and get their money's worth. QW is dead - anyone making new purchases needs to really reconsider whether it is right product, As I previously mentioned there is going to be no further updates to their 787 on P3D.
  14. Indeed I have cleared the WASM folder prior to installation of the update - Several of the bugs like minimums callout and other bits has already been reported to inibuilds and they are aware.
  15. This update is good - however it has broken several other systems like minimums callout and some other stuff, Their discord server is full of list of errors people are encountering on 1.0.6 - I don't even know whether developers actually look at the list of errors before releasing an update or do they just don't bother with it. This plane is somewhere between fully developed to partially developed state. When they fix one error - other crops up. Since these last previous updates I have encountered 1 wasm crash, system errors, one or two CTDs, some FPS loss - All of these on 2020 version. Although I understand that 2020 was not on their mind when they developed the plane itself but if they were not going to bother optimising it then they shouldn't have released it for 2020 in first place. I also hear people on 2024 version aren't having great time either.
