June 7, 2025Jun 7 I am wondering if this is a problem for anyone else. The nose and main gear of the AI aircraft (regardless of the model) is not visible from a certain distance, which looks really odd and sort of breaks the immersion.
June 7, 2025Jun 7 Asobo, in an attempt to increase performance because of user complaints, drastically altered the LOD distances in the sim in various updates over the years. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024

It is a problem for everyone, and it should have been corrected years ago. June 8, 2025Jun 8 Main landing gear is usually always visible for me it's the nose gear that is not visible until the plane get's close enough. --Sean Hart

The main landing gear is visible from a slightly greater distance than the nose wheels, but it absolutely does disappear at a distance close enough to notice it. June 8, 2025Jun 8 I am also a bit frustrated about this, immersion breaker for sure...Is there a voting for this topic on MSFS2024 forum?
