  1. Yeah, I figured he was using NVIDIA Surround. It's horrible and gives terrible stretching on the side screens. Not acceptable to me, hence why Microsoft introduced multi monitor support. Just a shame FG doesn't work with it.
  2. He may be using Nvidia Surround as that essentially creates one large monitor. In my case, all monitors are identical, as are cables and obviously resolution etc etc As I say, there's a LOT of us with triple monitor setups that would love to be able to get FG working on all three displays, but it doesn't appear possible due to the way MSFS renders video.
  3. Hi Mate, Have you seen any instances of frame generation being displayed /effective over all three monitors when using MSFS multi monitor setup? If you have I'm keen to hear how because there's dozens of threads and requests over at the official forums for this to be implemented. I can get frame generation on the main (one) screen, but MSFS doesn't allow it to operate on multiple views using its internal multi monitor setup. In relation to the video, yeah I'm using process lassoo to run MSFS on my x3d cores. Works very well.
  4. My 4090 manages a to drive my 3 x 50" 4ks (alongside another smaller 24") to around 25-30 FPS on the ground at most modest size airports in the PMDG birds or the Fenix. I'm currently looking at replacing these TV's which are Hisense A7HAU's with the LG OLED C4s. One of the things I'm looking at is motion smoothing. With frame generation not working across multiple monitors, having reasonable motion smoothing and judder reduction can assist with creating a smother image even if the sim is only pumping out 25-30 FPS. Does anybody have any experience with OLED TV's for flight sim (or lower FPS games in general)? I see a lot of talk online about how good they are food fast moving games (largely first person shooters) or games that can run at 80+ FPS, but I don't see any feedback on how they handle lower FPS like I'm looking at with 30 FPS in MSFS. Any advice would be great! 🙂

  6. Anybody able indicate what the FPS hit is like with lots of AI Traffic? I seem to recall reading on Discord the developers were indicating NO FPS hit because the traffic is managed/injected outside the simulator, but I find that difficult to believe. PSXT+RealTraffic injects traffic outside the simulator and that induces a significant FPS hit.
  7. How in the modern day, does an airport of this type and quality get released without airport codes?? Such a super simple thing to do yet its not done after all this time. Odd.
  8. I'm all for supporting Dave because his support has been outstanding over many years, but will be interested to see how much behind the scenes ATC control has been improved in this new version. With the other platforms using more and more AI, it will be interesting to see the difference here.

  11. Process Lasso was my answer to this, and the easiest way I could ensure MSFS was running on cores 0-7. I allocate MSFS to the X3D cores and everything else (all the other programs I run alongside MSFS) to cores 8-15. Process Lasso is free to try if you want 🙂

Hi There, Could I ask, when you say it works across multiple monitors, are you saying it will double (or triple) the frame rates of XPlane (or P3D?) if you're running XPlane (or P3D) across multiple monitors? Not talking about using NVIDIA Surround, but rather the internal multi monitor implementation, i.e. ViewGroups in P3D. I tried getting Lossless Scaling to work across multiple monitors displaying MSFS and found it would only "activate" on one monitor at a time (I run a Left, Centre and Right). The "Multi Display mode" tab didn't change or help at all in that regard. Cheers

  14. I'm on the fence about the Crystal Light for exactly the same reasons. Reading their discord its seems theres a high degree of confusion amongst people who pre-ordered months ago when they'll get their headset - doesn't inspire confidence. I'd like to try the Quest 3 but I worry that the resolution isn't going to be good enough. From what I've been reading and trying to upskill myself with, I kind of think that crystal light resolution is the minimum I'm going to want to get a decent expirence. Happy to be proven wrong tho...

  17. Really disappointed with this. Even if they could just introduce the ability to adjust the zoom for each monitor/screen independently I'd be please. Really disappointed to hear they've parked this moving forward.
  18. C'mon Ray, clearly he means PMDG weren't selling enough P3D addons currently. At the end of the day, its a commercial decision by PMDG. You've got yourself a copy of what you wanted from them anyway so why would you care? I'd suggest that PMDG weren't selling enough addons to make it commercially viable to continue supporting their P3D products (honestly, if they sold more than one copy of a P3D product a week I'd be amazed), so have started phasing them out and no longer wish to update/fix/sell/support/be involved with the platform. Its not a difficult business decision to understand - I just think you don't like it because it reinforces another nail in the P3D coffin. When addon developers stopped selling their products for FS9 were you also this aggrieved?
  19. Out of interest, for those that are doing stacking of native FG and LSFG, what hertz monitor/screen are you running? With that level of FG you must be seeing FPS in the 120+ range. I presume you're all using monitors that can display that rate? I think with my 60hz TV's thats one of the challenges, 60 FPS is the most I'd expect to see on my 60hz TV....

  21. Has anybody figured out a way to make it work on multiple monitors (MSFS windows)? I've got a triple monitor setup... I can get native FG running on the main window and an instance of Lossless Scaling on the second screen (windows), but can't load another instance of it to do its thing for the third window. None of this would be an issue if FG just worked across all MSFS screens/windows, but alas it doesn't 😞
  22. What bit of secret or classified information has been disclosed in the video? That there's a pin code required to access the cockpit door? What am I missing here? its not like you can get inside the cockpit wall partition and analyse the locking mechanism....I mean if iFly modeled that level of fidelity a) Its an instant buy for me and b) I expect the FPS will be terrible!

  24. Does anybody here us the Discord? Woke up this morning to find that the Official Discord server doesn't exist anymore? Not sure if perhaps I've been kicked off it (can't see why) or if its been shut down? Trying to accept the an invite from the SLC main page results in an error message?
