  1. I'm getting CTDs every flight (even with an empty community folder). Never used the DLSS swapper
  2. Did you report over on the official forums (https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/ctd-with-exception-code-0xc0000005-fault-bucket-1945005070971162045-type-4/630222/56)? We need as many people to report as possible to try and find a fix...its frustrating the hell out of me!
  3. Thanks mate - I'll try clearing the shaders today and take another SU15 Beta flight to see if it makes any difference. The thread on the official forums is getting more and more feedback so hopefully there will be a fix in the next beta update.
  4. I hope so...I hadn't had a CTD in over 12 months. Downloaded SU15 Beta today and had 3 CTDs in 3 flights. There's a ever growing thread on the official forums about the same CTD with the Beta (https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/ctd-with-exception-code-0xc0000005-fault-bucket-1945005070971162045-type-4/630222/56). That thread is marked as feedback logged....but not bug logged unfortunately.
  5. I've cleaned the shader cache from time to time but as I said, never had an issue with CTD's until this beta. Were you back to back CTD issues with SU15 or a previous build? Seems there are more and more people commenting on the MSFS official thread about getting CTD, but I'm guesing its probably a small percentage else the forums would be awash with CTD complaints
  6. I have mate - hence the link I posted.
  7. There appears to be a few people experiencing CTD's on the current BETA (myself included). There is a thread on it here: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/ctd-with-exception-code-0xc0000005-fault-bucket-1945005070971162045-type-4/630222/49. No fix or workaround appears to exist at the moment. I've gone from a fully stable SU14 to getting this crash every flight anywhere after 20 minutes. Thats part of being in a BETA I guess. Its too much work to redownload the current SU14 version so I'll just wait for the next BETA version and hope there is a fix.
  8. I don't believe RealTraffic uses FlightAware data, but check out PSXT and RealTraffic. Paging @kiek.
  9. Regrettably I can relate to most of those when using PSXT. Which is unfortunate because I don't think its PSXT's fault persay, I think the issue lies in the data PSXT receives from RealTraffic. I love the idea of real time accurate traffic (which is why I purchased a 2 year Professional licence for RT some time ago). But the data issues that result in the above will prevent me from renewing.
  10. Hi Dave, I came looking for the same answer - Often when I request a specific arrival runway i get no response from Pilot2ATC. I understand now that perhaps this is due to me being to close to the airport and past the point of STAR assignment. What would be nice is if such a request is made and its to late, for Pilot2ATC to respond in that way - or at least say "Negative, unable". When it just doesn't respond it gets confusing and makes the program appear non-responsive. Cheers
  11. I'm getting the same - Did you ever get a reply from anybody? Worked for the first couple of days between my PC and iPad however hasn't connected for the past two days. The iPad just keeps indcating that the server is unreachable. I'm not running any antivirus or firewalls etc so it won't be that. No idea what might have changed....
  12. word not allowed! Thats unexpected. Might have to start taking better care of my Bravo if it turns out I'll never be able to get a replacement!
  13. At the moment PSXT / RT seems to have very poor coverage in a LOT of places. For a couple of months now there's been issues with the RT data feeds. Unless things improve I won't be renewing my RT subscription.
  14. You’ve made this point a number of times Bruce. Clearly a large number of people do see the benefit of the program to the point their asking to donate to the developer (myself included). As I said previously, not every bodies sim is the same and this clearly benefits a large number of people.
  15. Nothing Bob - you’re perfect. A lot of us however don’t reach your level of excellence and have other tasks in life that prevent us sitting in front of the PC for hours on end and occasionally require us to use the pause function.
  16. This thread has clearly seen a few thread drifts in its existence so I’ll add another one… How can we influence the developer of APL to remove the penalty for PAUSE? I’ve emailed him before and got a fairly … “snarky” response.
  17. Colour me interested. What's the limits with the Fenix? That's my Airbus of choice. I presume the buttons and rotaries can be programmed with Axis and Ohs but maybe the annuncuators and displays don't work? The way their FAQ reads it sort of sounds like Fenix don't want this type of equipment to work? Doesn't sound quite so plug and play as some other aircraft....
  18. I'd like to know the same thing.... I recall from P3D when using a complex aircraft, running the replay tool would result in flaps/gear and all sorts of other things often changing state....
  19. I'll second this - SLC and GSX are a great combination.
  20. Hi All, I'm currently running six screens off my 4090 and two motherboard display outputs. I use the 4090's three display ports for the main MSFS displays and the other three displays for other various things. I'd like to add another couple of touch screens and purchased a USB C to display port adapter in the hope I could get another couple of screens through USB-C connection but alas it didn't work (perhaps because I'm already using the two motherboard graphics ports). So now I'm thinking of adding another cheaper NVIDIA graphics card (perhaps a 3060 or 4060). What I've never been able to get my head around is PCI-E lanes. I'm not using any any M2 drivers and the 4090 is the only card i have in one of my PCI slots...but I fear that if I plug in another PCI card in the form of a 3080 that will drag performance away from my 4090. Can anybody assist or point me in the direction of useful info about PCI-E lanes etc? 🙂 Cheers
  21. There's a fair bit of info in these threads you may find useful
  22. Why don't they just release all liveries in one download for $0.01?
  23. I agree with the OP - SLC v1.6.x is outstanding. I'll admit I was very critical of Steve after 1.5 was seemingly abandoned.. but 1.6 is a fantastic piece of work.
  24. Good Topic BEST - Working Title for the significant additions to some of the default aircraft - @Fragtality for their work on Fenix2GSX and DynamicLOD - @virtuali & @Kaiii3 for their work on GSX and AIG AI Traffic respectively. WORST - The lack of updates from Asobo on multi monitor support (the ability to zoom, setup individual aircraft configurations) - The lack of updates from Asobo on ATC/AI Traffic - The lack of updates from Asobo on performance improvements (I mean we've been asking for DynamicLOD for three years and it took a freeware Dev to make it happen). Looking forward to 2024 for the aircraft and new SIM it will bring. Fingers crossed that the issues that clearly were too much for Asobo in the current version are addressed in the new one
