  1. You can turn smart app control off in the security section under app and browser control. There is currently a bug in the newest version of windows 11 that will not let you turn smart app control back on if you turn it off saying the only way is to re-install windows. I personally think smart app control is rather intrusive myself and it's rather annoying.
  2. I really do not like the navdata change they made myself, I would much prefer just to use Navigraph hub, update and be done but now I have to go into the plane and hit the check lsk.
  3. you do not put in ILS frequencies in the VOR on the glareshield. ILS frequencies go in the ILS panel in the pedastal.
  4. Loving the Fuel implementation and having to turn off certain pumps to get fuel imbalances situated.
  5. There is a GSX profile listed in their knowledgebase along with simbrief profiles. https://support.bluebirdsim.com/docs/setup/gsx-profiles https://support.bluebirdsim.com/docs/setup/simbrief-profiles
  6. All you have to do is login to the fenix website, go to settings and then reset license activations.
  7. None of these vibecoded programs people are pushing out there ever delete files properly when uninstalling which is why I recommend to install files manually that way you know what you put where.
  8. Too bad everyone's gonna be flying the 757 next week!
  9. I don't wanna see anything get streamed early, not even day not even 5 minutes before it goes live. Let me figure it out on my own.
  10. OK, I can see at 1080p having poor AA with TAA. At 4k it's not really an issue.
  11. I don't really understand this sim and developers and how on earth we are getting all these newer planes like the A350 and the 787 when we still don't have a good 744. Like one of the most iconic airplanes in existence and nothing.
  12. This is cool but I don't think I have ever used the Built in MSFS EFB for anything.
  13. Making it an option to use the default navdata is fine but let's not forget some people are not the brightest and you will guaranteed get complaints on all the forums about missing navdata etc etc. People don't read manuals these days, they just come to forums to complain when something does not work. I also think if a person can afford a 80 dollar game and then a 80 dollar plane they can easily afford a navigraph subscription. Sure I do not like subscriptions and I wished they would stop but that is the life we live.
  14. If someone offers a version of a paid addon for completely free and included with the sim then there is a 99% chance that the free version has something removed that the paid version has.
  15. I still have the thrustmaster TCA throttle and zero issues with controls with the ini A380.
  16. Even though I am not a fan of Boeing's design philosophy and much prefer Airbus it will not stop me from purchasing this as the 757 IMO is the best looking commercial airliner made. Been waiting a while so another few weeks isn't too big of a deal.
  17. KPDX has the same melted buildings at the end of runway 10L since 2020 and it carried over to 2024. Doubt it will ever get fixed by asobo directly.
  18. This post is horse*** and the main reason watching these Youtube "experts" will have everyone running something that is horrible.
  19. As stated above I usually will already have my ILS altitude already set on the MCP or the FCU if it's an Airbus well before activating approach and I usually try to make sure that before I activate approach mode I am at or slightly below the ILS path. Once approach mode has been activated whether it be Airbus or Boeing I will then dial in the go around altitude since as was stated once you activate approach mode any altitude can be set on the MCP or FCU and it will be "ignored" in APP mode.
  20. Updated without doing any of the normal deleting of the cache etc etc. All panning stutters for me are gone in the couple of test's I have done in the Fenix With SI traffic running. Finally the sim is enjoyable now, The previous panning stutters were unbearable to deal with for me.
  21. Landing the 319 now is a dream compared to before.
  22. The current Fenix A319 Will test your skills.
  23. Comments like this are the sole reason things don't improve, Xplane 12's Anti Aliasing is horrible and is a huge immersion killer/distraction. Especially when you have large high resolution displays and everything is magnified. Now if you are playing on a 24" monitor then you may never even notice the AA issues this sim has. I for one welcome making the sim better and fixing AA is part of making it better. That is literally my 1 and only complaint with XP12, Just the poor AA implementation.
  24. I've seen the video and it has 0 to do with Aliased Lines on the ground ETC ETC. The shimmering due to the lighting is 1 thing but there are other Core Anti Aliasing issues at hand that for me are more distracting that the Shimmering from the lighting.
