If you have a really good Reshade setup for your system the difference is very subtle but yes the lightning is very interesting. Depends on the time of day and clouds. Big change on wet surfaces and at night. Not so much on a good day. Also and this was disappointing for me it does very little inside the cockpit. I was really hoping it would make a significant change especially when the sun is hitting the windshield. Very early though and the future does look interesting indeed.

Just use reshade and your 80% there already

Well that was disappointing, Maybe because I already use Reshade. Better for sure but not enough for the loss of frame rates and artifacts and other possible problems. Maybe once its actually ready.

Yeah, I tried it yesterday with ATS. Too scared to do it with MSFS. Never worked though. It installed fine or it would seem but no change happened. Not sure why. Not sure if I have to change the video drivers or something else. Will try again tonight if I get the chance.

Just watched the video. What a monster of a plane.

We've got people simming with a keyboard and a whole new generation with PlayStation joysticks. And I fly the A350 from Boston to Quebec city on a 45 minutes flight because I don't like time acceleration. Realism is all in the eye of the beholder. Plus, some people actually just like to have fun when simming.The nerve of some people. 4x is not bad though. You can still do an 8 hour flight in 2 hours. Not sure why x8 is not available. Heck I always thought MSFS decided that, not the addons.

I did rhat. But I know with Maddog there were files that needed to be edited to work. Since I got the sound files at the same time I have no idea if what I am hearing is the updated sounds.

Thanks. It's only like 20$ CND or something like that. I barely fly any planes with the g1000 so that is good and it's a plane I fine very interesting. If the flight handling is good I will be happy.

I have been flying VFR with SayI for a month and I have had both depending on the situation. Both scenarios made sense. Even San Diego they have you coming in from a right pattern. That was a nice surprise

You can just buy the plane it would seem from marketplace any one ever try it. Anywhere close to being good.

My 4070ti was a little older only 12gig Yours is the super 16gig that could be a difference. Also autofps is so much better now. Lots of people seemed to have trouble running 4k when I looked into it. Truth is I saw very little difference between running 2k and 4k fps wise Too many people saying not to do it for me recommend it. I however was pleasantly surprised by the results. Buyer beware is certainly fitting here

Now I feel like a dirtbag, but I really forgot the new card is a 5070ti. Changed it cause the 4070 was 12gig. That really made a big difference. Can't believe I actually forgot that For sure. Sorry. I capped it at 45 and it never goes below. ( Have DLSS Frame Gen at X3. ) Use frame Gen but let NVIDIA figure out the K L M what ever. and AutoFPS is necessary. But I never or almost never have problems with stutters or FPS causing me problems. I Have an LG C5 40 inch / 144hz 64 ram / 7 98X3D Makes my posts here kind of useless. Sorry

I have A 4071ti 16gig and run 4k no problem almost all on ultra. Fps 45 steady.

Yeah, There is not one GA plane I have not adjusted the brakes on. Anywhere between -20 to -35. Maybe even play with the dead curve I think its called. On my end I have not noticed the Commander to be anywhere worse then the others.

Well how high is cruise. At FL300 it should be blurry unless its a very clear day. Not sure MSFS makes that distinction. 10000 not so much.

Well I got it this morning. I had Bijan in 2020. Never installed in 2024. Did not think it needed it. I saw very little difference, but I am sure it depends on the region and time of year. This will not rock your world but the price is very low and it makes everything a little better.
