Spad causing stutters?

Featured Replies

Made a few upgrades to the sim which included a Real Sim Gear 430 and in order for it to work for the KLN 90B, I had to get Spad. I already use Axis and Ohs. I really like the power of SPad and what it can do for my Logitech Panel but that and getting the 430 to act like a KLN 90B, I havent done anything else with it. Most importantly, I havent tried to assign the items I have in Axis and Ohs into SPad so I've been running them at the same time for a couple of days now.

I've also gotten a bunch of stutters or skips during this time. I wasnt sure if it was the fact that I finally broke the camels back when I added the 6th screen via the 430 to my system. I mean that 6 screen all running different rez with 3 of them going through two different HDMi to USB doggles. So that with having my LOD set to 400 and all setting on Ultra is really a load on the 4090.

So I decided to do a flight without using Spad and I was back to butter smooth which is great in that its not my system, settings or the added new 430 but boo on the fact that I really like what Spad did for my Logitech Panel with mostly just allowing me to switch between 8.33 and 2.55.

Over the weekend I'm going to try and move all my AAO setting to Spad and see if by just running Spad and not Spad and AAO together, I get the same butter smooth as I do when running just AAO without Spad.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Yes this can happen and I believe it’s related to the logging/monitoring of LVARs and other variables (LVARs bridge). There is a way to set it to be less resource intensive in the configuration file though I don’t remember what setting it is exactly. The other option is to let it load this after about 10 or so minutes the stuttering will stop.
