IniBuilds a220-300 v 1.0.7 APU Not Starting/Supplying Power

Featured Replies

Been successfully flying plane since day one. Spawn at gate, ensure GPU is enabled. Then turn on Batteries 1&2, start APU. After 60-120 seconds you can safely disconnect GPU and aircraft electronics remain lit and functional. Ver 1.0.7 APU never catches and plane reverts to batteries. This is a showstopper as you can’t be pushed from gates without power. Anyone else seeing this?

Yikes! Typical never ending MSFS2024 issue where a developer fixes one thing and it breaks something that ain't broke. I appreciate the update as I am seriously considering purchase since the A220 came on sale through inBuilds. I think I'll wait a little longer.

Working for me. I spawn in at the gate. Don't turn on ground power. BATT 1 and 2 on. 20 seconds and Flip the APU to START. It starts fine and supplies power within 30 seconds. Just did a short hop KSEA to KPDX, no issues. I have the latest Marketplace version.

Exactly. You are using MP ver 1.0.6. My post refers to iniBuilds Store version 1.0.7. What you describe was my experience before I installed the IniBuilds Store version. Now using version 1.0.7 my post is what I see. I’ve already uninstalled ver 1.07 and reinstalled 1.0.6 and then back to 1.0.7. 1.0.6 works. 1.0.7 fails. Blue skies,

See this post on the inibuilds forum - worked for me:

The Move to Inibuilds

I moved from the Market Place to Inibuilds today. After downloading from the Inibuilds site and rebooting etc, I loaded up 2024 in the anticipation of doing a flight. However, that wasn't to be. These

That's not what happened here.

It's an user issue, not a an aircraft issue.

Well I see it as something in between. Something HAS changed with the electrical circuits between 1.0.6 and 1.0.7 as is evidenced by the plethora of tickets and posts concerning a dead Ver 1.0.7. I think I may have fixed my issues and I think it has to do with older liveries from the 1.0.6 version. Ima gonna restart my flight after checking all the possible causes and suggestions posted here, thanks especially for the iniBuilds thread but to be frank, I’ve been there, done that multiple times so far.

I am on 1.0.7 and it is working fine. Bat 1 and 2 to ON, then Ext Power ON, then start the APU. works well. Also works if no Ext Power avail.

Thanks and it now seems to be working that way for me, albeit the APU does not seem to go in circuit for at least two min. For me 1.0.6 I could Bat 1&2 on select ext power start APU and come off ground power in less than 60 seconds. Now for me it take much longer. 120-180 seconds, or so it seems. More testing is in order.

Still though something changed in the electrical buss. Either by design or by accident, but something changed. Blue skies,
