I only used the enhancement tool in MSFS2020, haven't needed to in 2024.

From their Discord - The Flysimware Lancair Legacy for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 has been updated to version 0.2.4! This is planned to be the final beta version before release. We are preparing to release the Lancair Legacy on SimMarket tomorrow, and we will also be sending it to the Microsoft Marketplace. Please note that Marketplace approval and release may take up to a week. User Manual version 1.1 is now officially complete and is included in the project download folder, inside the Info folder that comes with the product. Updated the G5 and G3X airspeed strips to reflect corrected aircraft speeds. Full flap stall speed was changed from 65 KIAS to 63 KIAS. Flaps up stall speed was changed from 75 KIAS to 73 KIAS. VNO was changed from 235 KIAS to 220 KIAS. The fuel selector is now save-state enabled and will remain in the position where it was last left. The G3X Navigraph integration is now running on the latest version. The headset material was over-reflective and has now been updated. The headset also no longer turns blue when clicking it to enable the headset filter. Fixed the magneto switch state when loading on the apron. The magneto should now correctly load in the OFF position. Fixed the alternator switch states when loading on the apron. The alternator switches should now correctly load in the OFF position.

I would never fly with a co-pilot or any passengers. It really is the best and quickest way to make your simulator look like a game. Plus, it's my aircraft and I want to fly on my own, wherever I want, whenever I want and however I want, thank you. Go away.

Flying her now from KSDL to KTEX. Honestly, the best 12 quid I've spent in MSFS for ages.

The closest international airport to me, although I'm yet to fly from there. If it works well with the Orbx London City pack I could maybe be persuaded.

Unfortunately, yes. However May was an expensive month so I'm going to stay in denial for a bit longer.

Picked this up after reading this and seeing a few videos. Kind of like it! Love the avionics, looks gorgeous of course and flies pretty well. It's not 'Phenomenal' but it cost me £12 and for that, there is very little to complain about. I'll fly this a lot I think.

V0.2.0 is here - Flight dynamics and stall behaviour have been fine-tuned. Takeoff handling is now more realistic, with left yaw under power requiring right rudder correction. Below roughly 30 knots, a small amount of right toe brake may also be needed. Welcome to the Lancair Legacy! Recommended elevator control sensitivity settings have been added for a more realistic stick feel. Windshield defrost logic has been added. G3X, GTN 750, and G5 display glass flicker has been fixed. Several bugs and audio issues have been fixed. edit - make sure you also update the installer to 0.2.1 - the whole process is much quicker now.

Nice to see that those of us who didn't have it before can rent it first for next to nothing. Consensus seems to be that it might be ok now.

No, mine are still mid 50's to low 60's, pre and post SU5. Non VR, DLSS.

This is the best one for a long time for me. Definitely a keeper.

What made you update to 566.36?

Their DA-50RG is good, I wouldn't say it was excellent and it hasn't been updated in over two years, despite many flaws. I didn't realise it was the same developer and now that I know it is, I am a little less excited to be honest.

Looks like there is an issue with 0.1.7 and 8 will follow shortly. Right now I can't update to 7 as isn't available to download.

You guessed it - v.0.1.6 The turbo version now uses the newer built-in Asobo turbo mixture and engine behavior instead of our previous WASM-based mixture control. G3X manifold pressure display ranges have been updated for improved real-world accuracy on both the normally aspirated and turbocharged versions. The turbo fuel gallons-per-hour display has been updated for improved accuracy on the engine display. The backup G5 airspeed tape markings now better match the main G3X airspeed tape. The backup G5 now uses a separate altimeter source from the main G3X system, allowing the G5 baro setting to be adjusted independently. A clickable headset has been added to the pilot seat. It can enable or disable the headset audio filter, and this can still be controlled from the EFB as well. GPU availability logic has been improved so the GPU can be used in more locations when the aircraft is on the ground, parking brake is set, engine is off, and the battery switch is on. Several sounds were improved, including speed brake, landing gear, emergency gear extension, and GPU sounds for both interior and exterior views. Additional flight dynamics refinements were completed with the real-world pilot, including AOA scale updates, spoiler drag and lift tuning, propeller beta value updates, and EFB weight and balance display refinements. Several bugs were fixed, including the entry decal / Shift + C interaction issue, oil cooler lever direction, and incorrect EFB failure MTBF timing values.

Me too. The Orbx version is pretty good.
