  1. It's been updated already - Enhanced Global Vegetation has been updated to version 1.5.4 Despite only being out for a few days we have had huge amounts of feedback, from testers and users, both publicly and privately, most of it thankfully very positive. on the back of some observations around realism we have made the following changes: Added additional ground plants (bushes, forest floor cover) to more locations worldwide, and restored ground-clutter variety (fallen branches, stumps, saplings) in mixed forests, marshes, chaparral, and eucalyptus woodland that had been accidentally stripped down Enriched grass density and variety in temperate meadow regions to better match real wildflower and grass-cluster patterns, while keeping our custom grass look Added more dead and fallen trees to African savannas, deserts, and Mediterranean woodlands, and fixed missing grass on sandy ground in deserts and savannas worldwide Fixed missing water-edge vegetation along two river regions in the US Softened the UK's abrupt winter-to-spring transition with more evergreens through winter and fresh spring growth/blossom, including spring green-up on several base tree species across the US, Canada, and UK Increased tree density on the US Eastern Seaboard (around a third) and UK South (around a quarter) Rebalanced West Coast California redwood forests: reduced overall density and cut the proportion of towering redwoods, filling gaps with more Douglas fir and pine Fixed grass getting too sparse at certain airports, and corrected town density in tropical, boreal, tundra/alpine, and southern-hemisphere arid regions Fixed several misclassified regions (East Afghan conifer forests, Canadian aspen parklands) that were far sparser than they should be. Crops: Removed rice paddies from Arabia, added canola/rapeseed to prairie/steppe farmland, and cotton to the US Cotton Belt, India, and Central Asia.
  2. Ok, so having read a few reviews and joined the Discord channel and seen the positive feedback, I bought it and against all my expectations, I will keep it at the expense of Bijan, sorry. I like the variety of vegetation, the accurate colour and most importantly the much more realistic heights. From the parks and private gardens of London to the Sonoran desert (perhaps the cacti are too big and could do with a little more variety) to the forests of the Pacific North West - it all really does all look better than before. For the price of a coffee and a bacon roll, I am impressed! I hope it continues to develop.
  3. The great thing about Bijan is that he is constantly updating and responds directly to customer feedback. He really cares about his work. Unless this offers something different and I'm not sure it does, I see no reason to change.
  4. Try this - go into Settings - System - Display - Colour Management and change ‘Automatically manage colour for apps’ to On if it was Off. It stopped the flickering for me.
  5. Yes, I tried them again earlier and still get some flashing and split second black backgrounds on my monitor. I'm half expecting an imminent hotfix as something didn't feel right. I'm sticking with 610.88 now.
  6. I am yet to receive an email re the discount and I wondered if it would show up when I went to check out but it wasn't there either. I'll use my points instead.
  7. Does anybody here only use their PC for MSFS and nothing else? There are security aspects to driver updates as well but, I guess they can't be important, right?
  8. My new desktop speakers are arriving today. Can't wait to test them out with this. edit - and it's out now - https://www.justflight.com/product/tbm-850-precision-audio-pack
  9. I noticed some flickering on my monitor with this one so I went back to 610.88 which has been solid.
  10. I loved it before but this update elevates it to my favourite bizjet now. Just magnificent.
  11. Amazing work. Also very pleased to see that the 'Lite' version is now gone and the only X in my hangar is the one I will be using.
  12. I haven't actually flown the glass version once since the analogue version came out.
  13. It's not showing up for 2024 in any of the various online markets, Orbx, Contrails etc. The SR22 is one of the better default offerings for sure and tweaked again with SU6. One of the very few I have kept installed.
  14. There you go, thank you. Back to 'M' then 🙂
  15. I'm reading we are supposed to use preset 'F'. I've been using 'M' but will give it a try.
  16. Hope it includes headphone simulation. This is one loud airplane!
  17. It is better than the default, so if you are willing to accept the usual Carenado traits we all know about by now, it's actually ok. Not expensive and satisfies the King Air itch while we wait for you know who 😉
  18. I haven't done any FPS testing since FSX. Is it a 'thing' any more? If I get a new aircraft I tend to do the same route as a 'first flight' just to generally see what it's like and to get a feel for it, but not to test anything specific.
  19. I said the exact same thing. 104 planes ago 😬
