Which you requested a refund for because it didn't work or because you didn't like it?

What was the reason for the refund from Just Flight? Did it not work or did you just not like it? With Steam, yes it is supposed to be 2 hours but I have never got a refund from them for that and there have been games I played for literally minutes before asking for a refund and not getting it. edit - here is Just Flight's policy - REFUNDSUnfortunately, we are unable to keep track of installations, un-installations, removing or deleting downloadable software on customer’s PCs and therefore we are unable to issue refunds for downloadable products once any relevant product key has been sent and/or the software has been downloaded. However, if you have a problem with your software, please contact our support team and if we can’t resolve the matter we will, of course, ensure that you aren’t paying for something that you can’t use.

Funnily enough the only refund I ever got from Steam was for a MSFS addon, although the refund came from PayPal eventually. That was after the developer who shall remain nameless flat out refused my refund request which made me all the more determined to get it. I have tried to get refunds for games and expansion packs etc from Steam before but not successfully. Now I just watch as many videos as I can and read as many reviews here and elsewhere before deciding to buy anything and if I lose 20 quid once or twice a year from a bad purchase, that's on me. Plus you can rent quite a bit on the MP now and that has definitely saved me money! I wish every developer offered that.

I hope nobody is expecting too much beyond the Air Races. Please let's not have the usual stream of 'they've still not fixed xxxxxx' tomorrow morning and please god, no mention of landing gear.

Ages now. Updates used to be once a week I think, now it can be any time. Some developers can get patches and hotfixes out really quickly, as in next day.

Generally speaking you don't get refunds for games or software unless it plain doesn't work. 'It isn't very good' doesn't count. Just Flight/Orbx etc etc don't offer refunds either btw, it's not a MP issue.

I've been waiting for the Tecnam P2012 to appear on the Marketplace precisely because I don't want it as a download. I've done a complete 180 turnaround on this since MSFS2024 came along. I don't want downloads barely scratching the surface of my enormously empty 2TB 9100 Pro anymore and will stream if at all possible. The Marketplace is so much better than it was and can produce updates much more quickly than before. I don't want to go back to buying downloads thank you. It's not the 90's any more.

I had a lovely very early morning flight today from Bellingham to Anacortes, up the valley to Concrete, along the river to Darrington and back along the valley and around to Harvey and finally to Fall City. Live weather, low and slow'ish in the Tundra Cargo. Just beautiful. The kind of flight I used to do all the time in FSX but haven't really had the perfect aircraft for in MSFS up to now.

Yes, Harvey/Firstair was one I picked up in the Orbx sale yesterday. Both just as I remember them.

I haven't had any ghosting since I can't remember how many DLSS versions ago. Years anyway. I wasn't even aware it was still a thing for some users.

1WA6, Fall City. This aircraft is perfect for the area and I intend to spend more time there now. I even bought a few more airports for the region today including one or two I haven't had since FSX 🙂

Very much looking forward to the big brother Praetor next month which will at last give us a full on professional Embraer biz jet without any novelty passenger 'features' which I wouldn't use in a million years.

Two more things to love. You can taxi with the door open and you can open the door at the end of the flight and not get kicked out of the aircraft. Both a massive plus for me 🙂

This is not my experience at all. Steady climb to 10,000, 19.2 GPH at 24/28. Didn't need to reduce mixture at all. Happens with a few older Carenado aircraft, not this one. Maybe try again.

And how much did the whole show/event cost you? Tickets, travel, expenses etc 🙃

No, it really isn't stuttery at all. I love walking around before a flight but especially after I've landed, parked up and powered down. Getting a good close up look at what you've just flown is one of the best things about 2024 for me.

The sounds are great, especially when taxiing.

It's really good. Having a ball flying all the variants but mainly the Tundra cargo with pod which will become my default Cessna. No regrets purchasing this whatsoever.

If the plane is not intuitive and the add-on reflects that then the add-on is not at fault is it. The aircraft is very well done here in fact. That doesn't mean I have to like it though does it!
