  1. cw, thanks. I had the AP off, but still had some modes active. When I got it back to just ROLL and PITCH modes the FD did indeed turn off just as you said. Thanks.
  2. I want to add my thanks to the Working Title Team for their excellent work on the CJ4. I did have question that I haven't found answered anywhere yet. After the Fight Director is activated, how do you deactivate it? When I click on the FD button again after its activated nothing happens. Thanks. Gary
  3. I am also having a lot of problems with stuttering. I was using simconnect for FSUIPC and GSX in P3DV4.5. If I'm not running P3DV4.5, could simconnect still be running and affecting MSFS 2020? If it is, can someone please let me know what I need to do to stop it? Thanks. Gary Merka
  4. Thanks Bryan. I think my problem is the air start cart is still connected. Will test this weekend when I get a chance.
  5. I am trying to understand how the GPU is disconnected. When I initially got FS2Crew for the NGXu, I called for the ground crew to disconnect the GPU right after the FO connects the buses to the APU. But it never got disconnected. Then I read in the manual that the GPU can’t be disconnected until the chocks are released when the countdown timer gets to 0 minutes. But when I get to the 0 minute point, the chocks don’t disconnect. I know I can use the FMC to manually disconnect the GPU, but can somebody please explain specifically the steps to verbally get the ground crew to do it? Thanks.
  6. Does the on-line map still work in the 737 NGXu? I tried using this site http://fs2.fs2crew.com:8080/SimpleTracker/map.do but it doesn't seem to work anymore. I noticed in the Config Options that it says "On-Line Map: Reserved." Does this mean it is currently not functional but will be in the future? The Manual just says "ON-LINE MAP: Displays your position on the FS2Crew on-line map." I also noticed after a few flights that the FO now sets the ENGINE START SWITCHES to AUTO. In the 737 NGX version he set them to CONT. The manual also says on page 15 that he should be setting them to CONT.
  7. That fixed it. Bryan, thanks for the VERY quick reply. Awesome support.
  8. Hey Bryan, I am having the same problem. I submitted a ticket (Ticket ID: S32-PZR-W8EW). Hoping for a quick easy fix. Thanks.
  9. I am also having this issue. Glad its on the list to get addressed in a future update. Bryan, as a temporary workaround can u let us know how to rename the sound file? Thanks. Gary Somewhere in Texas
  10. Thanks guys. I unchecked both of these and that seems to have fixed it. These are really cool effects, but not worth interfering with the HUD.
  11. I am using W10 with P3D V3.4, the PMDG 738NGX, AS 2016, TrackIR, and the latest version of FSUIPC. I recently noticed a weird issue with the HUD. In clear skies the HUD works fine. But while going thru clouds, the HUD display kind of "fades" in and out (i.e. goes from normal brightness to very dim and back). Its like the HUD is actually outside the aircraft passing thru the clouds. I tried switching from auto to manual mode, turning the brightness up all the way, and zooming my POV in and out, but that didn't help. Any ideas on this one? Thanks.

  13. Just made a couple of flights with version 3.0. Nice work Bryan, thanks for putting out this excellent update. The only minor issue I have with it is for some reason I can no longer open the secondary panel by mapping a button to waterrudder up/down. Is there still a way to map a button to open/close the secondary panel, or did this get taken out with version 3.0? Thanks. Gary Merka
  14. Hey boddman, I am also looking at the UN40KU6300FXZA. Will it display 4k at 30 Hz? Does it support Chroma 4:4:4? Thanks.
  15. Is anybody using a Saitek Pro Flight Yoke with the CH Pro Rudder Pedals? I can use the Saitek Rudder Pedals with the Saitek yoke in FS9 and FSX without any problems, but when I try to use the CH pedals with the Saitek yoke nothing works.I do have the CH Control Manager (for Vista) installed so I can use my CH Combatstick, CH Pro Throttle, and CH Pro Pedals together as one device in Falcon 4.0 AF. I tried to use CM to mix/match the Saitek yoke and CH pedals, but it doesn't allow you to add any non-CH joysticks.
  16. I am running FSX SP2 on a Vista 32bit PC and I have a Creative SB X-Fi card with the lastest driver. Everything is great, except I can't hear any ATC voices. I can see the scrolling text messages, but I never hear any voices. I have selected a pilot voice, and I have tried each of the different windows sound devices in the sound settings menu, but nothing seems to work.I have seen some threads that said it was a codec issue and discussed ways to fix it, but those fixes appeared to only be for XP. Has anyone found a solution for this in Vista yet?
  17. Thanks for the quick reply jd. Just wanted to make sure it wasnt a "known issue." I will go ahead and download RC4.3.
  18. Hey jd,I am a long time user of your great program with FS9. I didnt get FSX until recently when my PC "died" and I got a new Vista PC. After loading FSX, I had a problem with the default ATC. I could communicate with ATC by clicking on the text messages, but I had no ATC sounds at all. I saw that some others also had this problem, something related to the ATC sound in FSX being based on files that have to be processed together (the APXnnnnn.bgl's, the .gvp file located in the SoundATC folder, and the ATC.dll/AIPlayer.dll files in the root folder of FSX).I had planned on getting RC4.3 when I got FSX. But my question is, if I have this problem with the default FSX ATC will I have any issues getting RC4.3 to work with FSX? Will I need to fix this problem with my default FSX ATC sound prior to installing RC4.3?
  19. 1. Flight 1 ATR-72 5002. Flight 1 ATR-72 5003. Flight 1 ATR-72 5004. Flight 1 ATR-72 5005. Flight 1 ATR-72 500
  20. I was having the same problem, but I found a solution. I used to use the ATR Config Manager to set a random loadout before every flight, and I noticed that it put alot more weight in the front baggage area than the rear. This may be how the real plane is loaded, but looking at the "Aircraft Fuel & Payload" settings in FS9, I noticed that the CG meter was out of the safe range (too far forward). I manually moved some passangers to the back and moved some baggage from the front to the back until the CG marker was within the safe range. Takeoffs are now much easier, at Vr with trim at 1.2 units just ease the stick back and she smoothly roatates off the runway.Hope this helps ...........Gary
  21. Hey Bryan, does the upcoming ATR version require the throttles to be placed "in the notch" for takeoff? The reason I ask is I have never gotten this feature to work correctly with my CH Throttle Quadrant and I just synch the throttles to the torque bugs manually. But if the upcoming ATR version is going to somehow require it then I need to start figuring out a way to get it to work.
  22. Hey Bryan, thanks for the news on the upcoming 172 release. I will probably get it when it comes out. But I am really looking forward to the ATR release, and I guess I am a little disappointed that it is not the next version to be released. Not complaining, just hoping that the 172 version is not keeping you from finishing up the ATR version and that it will be released soon.Gary
  23. Hey Troy, thanks for the reply. I understand that there are programs out there to convert the textures myself, I guess I am just lazy :) and was looking for somewhere to download the converted textures. I have searched quite a bit and I have found DXT3 textures offered for other planes, but not for the PMDG 737.And I am confused about your link to the PMDG site for DXT3 textures. As far as I know the only thing you can download from them is the 32 bit textures.
