Black Square - Commander 114

Featured Replies

There's some interesting avionics in those screen shots - a 3M WX-11 Stormscope (not sure we've seen a stormscope in a MSFS plane so far ?), a Foster RNAV511 VOR RNAV (which looks quite a bit older than the Bendix and Narco RNAV units we've seen before ?), and what looks to be a TKM/Michel ATMC60 Digital VOR display.

So looks like some nice new toys to play with :)

(missed the VAL ILS 400 TSO on the left - that's especially interesting as like the Narco NAV-112 it apperas to includes the NAV radio within the panel instrument and other screenshots show some Old School ADF and DME units)

Also nice to see the KLN 90B option included again as with other Black Square aircraft!

I was recently daydreaming about how a really nice Bellanca Viking or Commander 114 would round out my single-engine GA wishlist, and here we are. Those screenshots look fantastic, does this guy ever take a break??

Also noticed there isn't much wear and tear in the cockpit which is nice to see although it is an older aircraft - however there's a fair amount of smudging on the guage glass so I guess the owner is a bit of a slob or has sinus issues & sneezing fits? In other words it's as if the texturing was custom made for me. 😄

I thought Black Square's next plane was going to be a King Air.

Be careful, thought can be dangerous in the wrong hands. ☠️

This makes me quake.....! The Commander 114 is one of my favourite GA aircraft and Black Square are my favourite GA dev. It'll be genuine kids Christmas Day excitement when this lands!

Mad! I really wanted an AA-5, OR a Commander 114.

Now we get three versions of the AA-5, and two versions of the Commander 114 at the same time!

If we get the B737-200 and DC-10 this year, that would go a considerable way to filling my hangar wish list. 😀

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.
