It usually doesn't take too long to appear once they start promoting it. Can't wait. And yes, best developer on the planet.

I remember one ground controller comment when I was parking my 114 at a French airport: "You fly the Rolls Royce of GA!" Well, RR cars are not known for their performances, but certainly for their com

Painting already? Seeing 2020 mentioned I assume its still a 2024 legacy native like all blacksquare up to now following the 2020 file structure leading again to the variant/livery problem?

Cheers T.

Flew an LPEV - LPPT rather enjoyable flight in the day of my glider pilot exam in october 1980 :-)

The examiner from the back then DGAC loved the aircraft and invited the 3 of us who had exams that day for the ride back to Lisbon...

Wow! What a flight !!!

Particularly liked when on finals to rw 35 (no longer active) he claimed the aircraft would land itself without him touching the controls again, properly trimmed and using just slight power inputs to stay in the glide slope... And indeed he didn't touch the controls and the landing was... uneventful :-)

Back then DGAC had a 112, a 114 , a Baron 55 and a twin commander.

Flying gliders since 1980

Flightsimming since 1992

There's some interesting avionics in those screen shots - a 3M WX-11 Stormscope (not sure we've seen a stormscope in a MSFS plane so far ?),

I wonder how that stormscope works in the sim? I mean, is there a way to detect lightning in the sim? Anyway, it's interesting, especially if it's halfway functional.

It's confirmed in the JF forums that they are aiming for a release of the 114 next week.

There's also a post by the Black Square dev which mentions the 114 but goes into more detail on the upcoming Twin Commanders (both piston and turbine) and includes some details on the King Air Professional they are working on - it'll be a 300 NOT a 350 and it looks like there is a Beech 1900D in the works as well.

The best just keep getting better. Wow! I'm excited for the imminent release of the 114, but even more excited that ever about the upcoming Twin Commanders - both of them. These are going to be FUN!

You can keep your Synaptic A220.... THIS is what I am desperately awaiting! 😎

I did my complex endorsement in the 112 and most of my IR rating in the 114, back in the PPL days. These wide, comfortable planes are in my blood!

Are those military jet pics interspliced into that update a mistake on JF's part? I was struggling to see the link between him talking about the Aero Commanders and those pics of a military jet?! 😄
