Simple Scenery Creation Tutorial?

Featured Replies

I am interested in learning really simple 2024 scenery design for many of the small airports in my state (Kansas, USA). Not wanting to design large international airports, etc. Just want to place maybe a simple hangar, maybe some lumber piles, windsock, runway markers and so on. I have looked all over for a basic tutorial that would teach me this but haven’t found anything like what I need. Any advice would be most welcome! Thanks a lot!

YouTube has some tutorials.

Activate developer mode and create a new package by following the prompts! They’ve made it a little easier in 2024 to create a package

Try using ADE from scruffyduck - That's probably the easiest way to start.

Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)

Search for YouTube videos by Patriot Six. He makes very good, easy to follow videos on MSFS scenery creation and editing.

Ermm... ADE and Scruffyduck are no more. Also, why would anyone want to use an external program when you can do all that in the developer mode?

I'll second that. Patriot Six makes great scenery tutorials.
