Granted BATC give lots of warning about it being an Alpha product. Bought it purely from the many great reviews from reputable sim channels. Biggest waste of money on a sim product ever. I've uninstalled it for now. I am hopeful for the future, as the product has so much potential. But the way it is now? It really isn't great. They need to get back to basics instead of focusing on traffic injection and the other gimmicks. Also their discord is probably the least helpful FlightSim related discord there is. I've never tried SI and don't intend to. I think the only viable future for AI ATC is for Microsoft/Asobo to actually spend some time and resources on it. Not some 3rd Party outfit.

At this stage, I doubt "appreciated by the community" is a priority with this team. Unfortunately.

Thanks Pete, For seeing sense of all this. I purchased the -700 for 2020 when it came out because it was the first version available. I've upgraded to 2024 the moment it came out and haven't installed the PMDG on it as it was not working at the time (It's doable now, but I'd rather have a fully supported product). Now they release the -800 first so I have to wait till February, or later, for the -700 version to come out so I can benefit from using the 737 in 2024. I honestly couldn't care less if i get the -700 or the -800. But I feel it should be credited for this release, i.e. I wouldn't mind using the discount now on the -800 and not be able to use it later for the -700. As long as I have use of one of the variants now, especially considering they are the same price. To be fair, it was a great product for 2020, and it looks like 2024 is also great, and there's no other alternative. I don't mind paying the upgrade fee either, I just won't pay the full 75$ again to access the -800 for now and wait for the discount on the -700. Just quite disappointed with comments from the PMDG team on their forums, especially that chap Mathisj, to paying customers, when they enquire about this convoluted upgrade system etc.. He just sounds miserable. My attitude, they should take customers more seriously and maybe look at how other companies treat their customers. And if they weren't such a pain about it, I would probably have paid the 40$ extra for the -600 version when it eventually comes out. So yea, my assessment of PMDG as a company, Aircraft 10/10, PMDG Staff Attitude 1/10. Sorry everyone for the rant.😄

Have been running 4096 for over a year. Never knew I could pump it up to 6144.. Life changing, this is on a pretty basic GPU 2080. Minimal performance impact, major visual impact. The cockpit shadows are absolutely amazing. Thanks!

Have you tried without DLSS, using TAA instead? I get this with some other aircraft sometimes when using DLSS.

Exact same thing for me. Map Enhancement seems to be the culprit on my system.
