  1. Legend thanks. Silly me. It seems before B2 when pressing "ALL" it would behave differently and display what I expected as "ALL".
  2. Loving the new update. Quick Question: anyone managed to get the ECAM to display "ALL". at this stage every time i click all it just cycles through all the options but no "ALL" Display. Cheers.
  3. I've got the -700 and not planning to get any other. Should there be a decent discount for owners/customers of any version of the 737 wanting to get another version, I might reconsider.
  4. I've also been waiting for this. Haven't seen any projects to do this so far unfortunately.
  5. Would really love to see the ProLine 21 version one day. Especially since the CJ4 pl21 is already being worked on by Working Title
  6. Hi guys, I have been unable to connect my iPad as an external device for the last 2 or 3 days. Any tips? All the IPs are correct. Just nothing happening. I've tried restarting everything including the router to get a different IP. Brick wall. So frustrating.
  7. Thanks, very interesting article and going through all the other settings now. So they assess the performance impact to 11% with Lens Distortion on. So by switching it off, you get improved performance and a sharper cockpit (which is better IMO). Sounds like a win-win by turning it off. I couldn't really notice any other benefits to having it ON.
  8. Not sure if this help: Lens Correction OFF Lens Correction ON: Very Subtle, but makes a difference for me. For clarification I just run a single monitor.
  9. Hi guys, Just wanted to check/compare something with other setups. I searched on this forum and the old google, but couldn't come across anything. In cockpit view, turn OFF "Lens Correction" in the graphics display. On my setup, this drastically sharpened the instruments, especially glass cockpits. When I turn it on again, it's back to a bit blurry. Not sure if its just me, but I much prefer the sharp instruments with Lens Correction - OFF. Any input? Cheers.
  10. Great set of questions. And this may differ significantly depending on the airport and country. You cannot predict entirely what approach will be assigned to you. But you try plan ahead for likely weather forecast. There are countless other factors that need to be accounted for as well. Your aircraft may not have sufficient performance to carry out the published missed approach, at which stage you may be limited to certain approaches only. You can however agree with ATC on an alternative missed approach. Some places will vector you completely to intercept final approach, others will insist on you following the entire procedure including procedure turns etc. With experience you get to anticipate which approach a particular airport will give you for the given weather/runway in use. But it is by no means an exact science. The runway and approach used may sometimes change at the last minute due to passing storms or an other aircraft blocking a particular runway. Changing approaches on short notice on the FMS is the easy part. Briefing the approach is the more time consuming part, but I reckon it is crucial. Sometimes I will brief 2 approaches prior to descending especially if I suspect there will be a change. Make sure your charts are ready for all possible approaches to the airport and take as much time to configure the aircraft and brief the crew should there be a last minute change. Most importantly, ask for vectors or a hold if necessary until you can properly set yourself up. Nothing worse than a poorly briefed or half prepared approach.
  11. Thanks Manny! You're a legend! I just looked at old screenshots I took of the original install. The original was: "Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe" the wrong path in the screenshot in my original post is: "Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages" I have no idea why MSFS changed it on its own!! The only Mod I have is the WT CJ4 and flew it no problems last night. Just shutdown after the flight. Started the sim up this morning and this problem appeared. Immediately on changing the path to the original, the issue was solved. This sim has some strange quirks. Thanks again Manny, I was getting worried sick for a moment there! Cheers!
  12. Hi guys, Having been using the sim since the SU3 without any issues. Did a flight yesterday without any issues. No CTDs. Started it up this morning and after it checked for updates I get this: Now I haven't clicked on update as I want to make absolutely sure that I don't delete the data already installed. Also FYI it is an MS Store installation, not steam I have checked the Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe folder and it is sized at 124Gb so I assume all the stuff is still there. Has anyone experienced this or have a fix for this? I would really want to avoid a redownload as I have my connection cost me per Gb downloaded, it is also not very fast and it could take days. Cheers, asnamara
  13. Affirm, without the WT G1000 mod, 100% default. I removed all the mods from the community folder before the update. I'm actually being a bit of a chicken and waiting for someone to report back on the WT mod compatibility before putting my mods back in 😄
  14. G1000: Finally we have Track Up that works on the map. Although we already had HDG up in the WT G1000 mod. We can Turn Synthetic visions off. Most of these improvements were already available with the WT Mod. Still no way of doing a proper Direct To in the FPL. Menus are still buggy as hell. I did initiate an RNAV and even though the altitudes were NOT reflected in the flight plan, it followed the procedure to the tee with VNAV and eventually APP mode selected. VNAV switched into GS.. that's a major improvement. Autopilot seemed vastly improved (C208 Caravan). But in essence nothing as drastic as the WT Mod, and I cant wait to for Working Title to update the G1000 and improve on the latest MSFS Updates. Still a major disappointment. You would think a partnership with Textron would ensure a solid rendition of the G1000 on the Caravan. ProLine: On another note the KA350i is equally as disappointing, with its rendition of the ProLine Fusion Cockpit. Its an amazing aircraft and I have the pleasure of flying the 350 with ProLine 21 IRL. WT are doing an amazing job on the CJ4 ProLine 21 avionics. Realistically, how crazy would it be to get the WT CJ4 avionics into the ASOBO 350? I would definitely love that. Any thoughts?
