How many FS-related apps do you have open during a session?

Featured Replies

.........and does having a lot of different apps/programs running matter?

I've been feeling a little anxious lately about just how many different programs I have open, during a MSFS session ☺️  I've no evidence that it matters, and I'm happy with my overall performance in the sim.

How many do most people have open?

During a session in MSFS, I have these programs open:-

  1. MSFS2024
  2. TrackIR
  3. Lossless Scaling
  4. FS Realistic Pro
  5. Lorby AAO
  6. BeyondATC
  7. Universal Announcer
  8. Sim Rate Announcer
  9. FenixSim (when flying the Fenix)
  10. Tiny Copilot A320 (when flying the Fenix - for callouts)

Are there any negative implications with having so many FS-related apps running?

One of these days I need to try and learn little nav map.  Every time I've attempted I've been absolutely overwhelmed by it.  Almost feels cluttered.

-An app to show the sim rate

-Whatever app hides the "press shift c to enter plane" and other things

-A landing rate monitor

-Spotify so I can listen to some music 🙂
