You load the scenery database from whatever sim you're using (takes around 5 minutes), once, and that's it. I've been using it for 15 years and that is the only 'task' that comes to mind. It's so that Little Navmap knows the scenery you have installed (both deafult, and it will also show your addon airports (by putting a yellow circle around them), which can be handy. Great little flight planning and flight monitoring tool, especially for VFR.
