  1. Super happy with my refurbished Lenovo. Just like brand new, and is very quiet under most situations.
  2. That is a very simplistic way of looking at the power of AI. It can also speed up learning dramatically, giving a wholistic view of the topic much quicker. I was wiring up some Victron components on my RV yesterday and wasn’t sure I had it working right. AI helped me understand (based on photos) that is was right, and why. Now I have a much better understanding of how these components work, and AI was providing valuable insight along the way. It told me about things i wasn’t asking about, and it did it extremely effectively. It was like having an expert next to me, being a patient teacher at the same time. And it remembers everything. The next time i ask about anything related to my RV it considers everything i have installed, other issues i have mentioned, etc. Again, awesome.
  3. AI is awesome. I use it every day. Sure it can and does make mistakes but i find it invaluable in so many ways. People who resist it have no idea what they are missing.
  4. I ended up ordering a Lenovo Legion with a 5080 and OLED. Perfect.
  5. Hey guys, looking for a laptop for MSFS 2024. I am going to be doing some traveling and will have some evening time for gaming. Budget is open. I don't want anything that blasts the fans too loud. Any suggestions? Thanks!
  6. Seeing as i love their A350 this one is an instant buy.
  7. After reading this i am wondering…have the aliasing jaggies been fixed in a recent update?
  8. I guess this is my next plane. Looks great.
  9. I don't think I have ever seen a message like that before, and I have been using BATC since the beginning.
  10. If I want to read about FSHUD I will find a thread on it.
  11. I think it is, because I noticed it right away.
  12. Did some testing yesterday. First, the new live traffic version is very smooth. No jerky movements in the air or on the ground. The takeoffs and landings just looked very realistic. I spawned into an airport which had a lot going on, and it didn’t need to wake up. My FPS was excellent. I never noticed any stutters, and there wasn’t any extra time needed to load live traffic. The immersion really jumped with this version. Good job.
  13. Works great. Very smooth. Lots of activity.
  14. Of course. But it has been super helpful in most cases, and really shocked me how deep its knowledge is in areas i know very well. I pay the $20 per month for ChatGPT and find it invaluable.
  15. AI can be super helpful. I am loving it. Well, until the robot dogs with machine gun turrets show up.
  16. Personally I don’t care if the traffic is realtime. If it matches historical routes and interacts with ATC, I am good.
  17. One thread works fine for MSFS Auto FPS App. Not sure why GSX is special.
  18. Yeah i remember you posting about it. I agree the movement of the planes in FSLTL were butter smooth, and i saw a lot more traffic everywhere with it. But i missed the ATC interaction so i just use the models. Still a great combo. Definitely a bummer hearing this news.
  19. I can’t say how much better 96GB is, but I am glad i went “overboard” on RAM over a year ago. Memory prices have gone insane thanks to AI.
  20. I agree. Just one thread will do. This is just spamming.
  21. BATC with FSLTL models is enough for me, but this is a bummer.
  22. I have been messing around with both of them. BMS is really amazing, but DCS is good too. Not sure about the campaigns/maps in BMS, but I know the older ones have to be rebuilt from the ground up for the new scenery files, so whatever they have given us is going to have to work for now.
  23. Started messing with it today. Looks good so far!
