Shown is SP1b (SP1 will be free for all existing customers when it releases soon) in MSFS 2020, all will be available  in MSFS 2024 also when released. All screenshots below taken from the now finished stream. Unfortunately there's no replay option (as of yet).

Here is hoping they can bring their 747-400 rendition to MSFS 2024. I think it was a really good addon in P3D.

  • SP1 will be the last stage for both simulators, MSFS 2020 aswell as 2024. After that development is 24 only.

Folks, prepare to have your earplugs with you when walking around...🤣🤣🤣🤣 The sounds (by Boris) are, to my knowledge, unmatched in MSFS so far.

Right now, I am honestly speechless with amazement at what I am hearing and seeing.

Yes, indeed.

David mentioned several times during the stream that the new EFB required a significant amount of development time. From what I've seen, it's as sophisticated as the Fenix EFB and visually quite elegant with excellent usability.

This looks excellent.

Have they improved the HUD, especially for non straight-in approaches?

That was my only gripe with the iFly.

Do we have now loadable panel states ?

cheers 😉

Yes, the sounds are beyond amazing.  Personally I think the EFB is the best implementation I've seen in a sim aircraft.  I don't know if it was mentioned on this stream, but you can also mirror the EFB to a physical tablet on your network, and that includes an option for a tappable CDU on your tablet so you can use a life-sized touch screen CDU vs your mouse with the one in the VC.  A nice touch, I thought.

The beta is currently only being tested in 2020, so everything you see there is in 2020.  It will be released to be compatible with 2024 as well, and then as Mr. Lamb says, future development will be for 2024.

From the work still needed on the EFB and the plane being MSFS2020 out the gate, it sounds like it will be sometime before we see the native 2024 release. Maybe this will give PMDG a chance to release a native MSFS2024 Max.
