Live Real World Traffic Date injected directly into BATC!
Are you using the Experimental version?

Live Real World Traffic Date injected directly into BATC!
Pretty much everywhere. An airport like KATL will obviously have more traffic, but still not remotely close to what it is like in real life.

Live Real World Traffic Date injected directly into BATC!
So this should greatly increase the traffic when using BATC. As it stands, even with the sliders maxed out, traffic is pretty sparse.

Orbx KATL is about to revolutionize scenery
No, it's not a joke. I'm a hardware reviewer.

Orbx KATL is about to revolutionize scenery
MSFS 2024 is an incredibly heavy sim to run. I have 5 GPUs with 4 of them being 16GB VRAM or lower, and I get the resource usage warning on all 4 unless I dramatically decrease resolution and/or settings. The 5th one is the 5090 which is my main GPU, and obviously no issues there. Whether that's warranted or whether it is poorly optimized by Asobo is a different discussion, but that's just the reality of the situation. Pointing being, if you have a mid range system that already struggles with the vanilla sim, then of course adding a bunch of highly detailed addons will further kill your performance. It's not surprising.

FSR4 is out. Some say it beats TAA and DLSS
FSR 4 has been out for a while, and it's exclusive to the Radeon 9000 series. It uses the machine learning acceleration cores available on the 9000 series. You can mod the INT8 version of it on 6000 and 7000 series GPUs, although it's not as good as the the FP8 version. FSR 4.1, released recently, is a nice improvement over FSR 4.0. Official support for the INT8 version of FSR 4/4.1 is coming to the 7000 series this year, and in 2027 for 6000 series. And no, it's not better than DLSS 4.5. It's a big improvement over FSR 3, though.

Sim Update 5 [1.7.27.0] Now Available | MSFS 2024
It's incredible how bad this team is at optimization. MSFS 2020, and now 2024, have been horrendous in terms of the way it uses memory. At 4K with maxed out settings (5090, 9800X3D, 64GB DDR5) I experienced several CTDs as a result of "low virtual memory." Why the sim would ever need to use so much virtual memory but so little of my physical memory is a mystery. Increasing the page file to 32 GB solved the issue, but that should not be needed. Hopefully they finally figured out how to optimize memory usage in SU5.

XWind Studio Long Beach Daugherty Field (KLGB) for MSFS 2024
That's definitely one of the better freeware airports.

XWind Studio Long Beach Daugherty Field (KLGB) for MSFS 2024
Looks like there's no thread on this, but this was announced back in January when the devs said the airport was 70% done. https://fselite.net/content/xwind-studio-announces-long-beach-airport/ Their last dev update on their Facebook page was on April 6 when they said it is progressing well. Looking forward to this one!

PMDG 737 WASM crash: can be reproduced
I had repeatable WASM crashes in the PMDG 738 when importing the Simbrief FP in the FMC too. What fixed it for me was this: when the plane was cold and dark, I would turn on the EFB only and then import the FP in the EFB. I would then start the plane, and from there I could import the FP into the FMC without any issue. Haven't had a WASM crash since. I should also note that I'm on the SU5 beta.

PMDG B737-700 Released
I have a 5090 but had to RMA my PSU and I'm not taking a chance using the 5090 with my old power supply. I've been using a 5070, so with all of the VRAM issues I guess I will wait until Monday to fly the 737 when I get my PSU back.

iFly B737 Max SP1 beta preview stream (2026/03/14) ENDED
This looks excellent. Have they improved the HUD, especially for non straight-in approaches? That was my only gripe with the iFly.

First flight with the PMDG 777F...
AI is great, but most of what you are talking about here, and the implementations that are most useful in the real world, aren't related to LLMs, and certainly not the LLMs that you use everyday via these fairly unintelligent AI chatbots that are available to the public.

787-9 Dreamliner for FS24 - Project Griffin Announcement
Very exciting news. The aircraft must be pretty far into development if it's set to release this year.
