is it me or does it seem very very similar to the original fsrealistic?

Looks nice enough, it shows a few more feature than XP12 v2 which I just bought and is nice. Cost will be important, more than $20 is not worth it IMO.

Plus, it appears that you have to buy ChasePlane to get all the features.

compatible with VR?

I'm French, sorry for my bad english 🙂

Sounds like another Parallel42 cash grab. Anyway I don't use ChasePlane, I'll stick with the FSRealistic standalone, which I like BTW.

This is cool, but where is ChasePlane for MSFS 2024?  Or did I miss something?  It seems to require ChasePlane soo...

FSrealistic fakes a lot of its physics. Thats why when when you land, its actually shaking the plane, not the camera. And you can see it on replay.

I guess the appeal is using Chaseplanes physics system to have complete control over the camera. But id rather just buy Chaseplane and that its...

Regular FSRealistic is all I need.

Simply turn off most of the fluff and leave the landing gear/undercarriage drag/roll sounds on.

This Plus version looks like a great product for folks who want more options though....

Don't see how having this integrated into the sim can be an advantage. I always prefer to have external Apps considering that, if they crash, they don't bring the sim down with them.

The advantage here is that if it can integrate with Chasecam then FSRealistic might not have to fake camera movement in the way it's previously had to and provide a better experience.

We'll have to see if that's actually how it works once it's released
