Looks and sounds really good!

I'm surprised at how bad the VNAV is haha. I gotta check with some of my A220 buddies and see what they say IRL.

I've heard from A220 pilots that its VNAV is poor and frequently struggles, especially with speed constraints and sluggish decent profiles due to the high idle thrust of PW engines and the aircraft's aerodynamic characteristics, which prevent it from losing much speed during descent. It seems this is being represented quite accurately on Synaptic A220.

Was the presentation successful? I'm seeing messages getting deleted by the moderator and a Reddit meme with a wasm crash while Inibuilds and MS staff look on ... . Typical Reddit lameness i guess.

So anyone who actually watched it have any comments ?

Well i don't see any wasm crash screens in the entire video so thats good. Guess ill watch in detail on the VNAV

Some are angry expecting a release date announcement on the stream and there wasn't one.

And the Reddit post is just typical iniBuilds hatewagon. There was no WASM crash on the stream. The systems are made entirely by Synaptic btw.

Yes this is true. I met Harsh and some at the Expo and it's basically all Synaptics except Ini is doing the exterior textures and publishing.

Some random things I wrote down

no HUD at launch, but will be added when the -100 variant releases

There will only be a single cabin config at launch, but they plan on doing more post launch

A220 does not have performance based VNAV, you have to set a path angle (this is accurate to the real thing)

I did not see the whole stream, but from what I did see I was impressed enough that I am certainly interested. They have clearly done a lot of hard work on the aircraft and know it very well.

I will never purchase an inbuilds product on release again, after the 350, but will certainly watch the reviews closely and hope this pans out to be as good as it looks thus far. It will be nice to learn a different, very modern aircraft.

This isn't an ini product though. This is like 90% synaptic studios.

Only things Inibuilds contributed to this are the art and EFB

I'll be getting their 380 as soon as it's released.

I like how they did not use the famous PMDG phrase of Soon and used the term, Not Long 😂 when answering the users question on a possible release date.

I have a feeling that given the fact they are still optimizing the OANS and are going to do a tutorial video first, the release is still at least another month out, if that.

I also have the feeling that since they streamed it first on the MSFS channel it might come out on the marketplace first.

I hope neither of those are the case.

Yea, that is the only reason I watched some of the stream and am considering the aircraft. And I am encouraged, but still after the A350 anything from iniBuilds is at best on a watch list.
