January 18, 200422 yr Hi All..many thanks for your help on previous thread. I now have a different problem. I have attached my rotaries for radios etc. They worked fine last week and when I rotated switch the new frequency would appear on LED display. Yesterday I added some toggle switches for my lights, engine starts etc. I also added some momentary switches for A/P.Now for some reason the rotaries do not display the frequencies when I rotate the switch ? Also the momentary switch doesn't activate the A/P features in FS. They all test well in Key test section of router. The new toggle events I programmed work OK.Any ideas or thoughts ?Many thanks...JB

I mean, delete the current one you have assigned the button to, and go and add it again.Does that help? Then try to add new stuff to the *bottom* of the list, does that mess it up?I think there's a bug somewhere, I just mailed Dirk about it today and it looks remarkably similar to your problem. Our setup works again when I re-chose the destinations for the failing buttons and rotaries.Tuomas
January 18, 200422 yr I would have thought that the best method would be to install every component that you'll use, then set the ID's and such. Then test every single one and make sure you have no conflicts/errors etc. As far as I'm aware, each set of pins on the key board should only be assigned to one type of input mechanism, be that rotary or switch. Are you sure you're not mixing them up? It may be best to assign a specific type of input method to each board, so that one board has all rotaries, and another has all switches. Just my two pence worth
