Hi all..I have the Citation from Carenado. Works a charm but for some reason I cannot click on any of the buttons on the EFIS control panel and the MFD is not on and none of the buttons on the this work or are clickable. Any ideas ? Tks...JB

Thanks Gavin...do I just hold the CH Throttle switch I have assigned to flaps down ? Also I could not find the flap switch on the panels anywhere due to the RussianTks?..JB

Hi All:I just got the YAK-40 from Supronov Design. Can anyone tell me how to get the flaps up and down please ? I have everything else running and have a flap swicth on my CH dual throttle quadrant, but when I press this swicth the flaps do not work. I have no problems with other planes.Many thanks for any advice as it is a cool plane !JB

Hi all I am flying the great russian AN-12 plane in FS2004. The problem I have is that I try to set the course for the ILS/HSI for ILS approaches but when I put my mouse on the knob, nothing happens. I then tried the lower left of the gauge to get the + and - to show up but when I click nothing happens. Does anyone have any idea how to set it ? Many thanks...JB

Hi all...thanks for all the suggestions. I went and tried the Hex editor route but this did not help. I tried another test. I wnet and download the same plane Antonov AN 24 from Samdim design onto another PC in the houses. This one is not as powerful as my flight sim one. Funny thing is therre were no stutters ! So I thing I have go the problem down to the route cause of the panel on my flight sim PC....something is going on.I am using a GEforce GTS250 video card on my flightsim PC with Enhancer. My FPS are great (30FPS) so what things should I look at on the video card settings to experiment with to see if the stutter will go away with this panel ?Many thanks...JB

Hi all...I have an add in plane PSS Dash 300 which is great. Trouble is when I load it it makes FS9 stutter every 2-3 seconds. I have tried the following:1. Made a new panel aliasing another panel - this solved the problem - so the problem must be in aircraft panel2. I REM'd each gauge in the Panel.cfg to isolate any problem gauges - did not solve problem3. Changed my textures to DXT3 - did no solve problem4. I am using an older version of FSUIPC 3.72 I thinkAny ideas what more I can do to try and solve this ? I have good 30 FPS on my system used but it drops 7 FPS in stutter.Thanks...JB

Hi all...I want to free up as much as my PC resources to flying and outside scenery. I have planes which look great on the outside but I'm sure they take up resources. is there a way to 'tone down' plane liveries which can help free up some PC resources for better flying ?Many thanks...JB

Hi All:I just bought the PSS Dash 8 Professional for FS9 and I started her up but I get the stutter every 2-3 seconds. I've googled the heck out of the web trying to find a fix but couldn't find a solution. I get high 30's FPS as my PC is pretty powerful.Many thanks for any help or suggestions...JB

Folks...I need a little help as I'm trying to piece together my FSBUS system using Classic and NG I/O card. I've figured out the Classic cards but am stumped on the NG card as I'm not seeing any thing:1) I bought the NG card off soemone about 5 years agao and it cam program to CID 2. I used it for a while and had to disassemble my sim.2) Uporn installation I was fashing things and I think I erased the NG card3) How do I reporgram(Flash?) the NG card again ? I've read you need FSADmin and FSBus CDK but now I'm so confused !!4) I use the FSBUS 2.4.1 which can be setup for Classic and NG cards.I am not very software literate so very simple instructions if you can please ?many thanks....JB

Hi all..I've taken about a 2 year hiatus from my cocpit as we finished off our basement. I had to take my sim apart and now I have put it back together. Heres my problem:1) I use FSBUS Classic cards and NG card (I/O)2) I cannot find any documentation on how to flash and set these up.3) I use the FSBUS 2.4.3 software4) I tried to reconnect everything but it looks like there is nothing coming from the cards. I tried to re-flash all cards to start again but I keep getting the read write/error every time I tried to flash.Could someone direct me to the best place to go through the FLASH sequence for the Classic and NG cards please ? Better still if there is a step by step instructions for getting them set up I would much appreciate it.Many thanks for any suggestions...JB

Thanks Gus...I did the following:1) Change the textures to DXT3 - no change2) Made a dummy panel - yes its seems to be the panel.This morning I downloaded the same plane on another, less performing PC, in my house and the plane worked fine....no stutters on one monitor.My flightsim PC in the basement uses 2 monitors with one Geforce GTS250 - instruments on bottom monitor and scenery on top monitor.Any ideas on how to make this great plan work without stutter on this system ??Many thanks...JB

Hi all:I fly alot of planes and they are all great. I just found a neat Antonov AN24 plane and downloaded it. Trouble is when I load it up in FS2004 it causes a stutter now and again which I do not get with any other of my planes i.e. freeware or payware.Here is a link to the plane which is a good one:http://www.fsplanet.com/reviews95.htmANyone have any ideas on how to get rid of the stutter with this one ?My system is pretty powerful with 2 GB RAm, GTS250 1GB card and I don't get any FPS hits when the stutter happens ?Many thanks...JB

Hi All...I wonder if anyone can help me please ?I use 2 monitors - 1 for scenery and 1 for instrument panel. I undock the instrument panel on the plane and put it on 2nd monitor. Its been working fine on most of the planes I have but for a plane I just downloaded the following is going on:The problem I am having is when I try to undock the instrument panel and drag it to the 2nd screen the whole scenery goes with it so all I did was put what was on the 1st screen to the 2nd screen. Funny that some planes are fine. I can't seem to undock the panel ONLY and drag it to 2nd monitor ???Anyone have any ideas please ?many thanks...JB

Hi All:I've been flying a great freeware Gruman C2 Greyhound around and I really love this real 'raw' plane. I was cruisng around on the web and I thought I saw a Payware company soon to release a Payware Gruman C2 Greyhound. Does anyone know or has seen a Payware C2 ?...as I am assuming the Payware version would be better than the freeware one I have ?Tks for your help..JB

Hi Folks:I just recently updated my home cockpit by adding another super computer for scnery and using Wideview. I use a second computer for my cockpit panels and run them both through Wideview. My outside view/scenery computer has the following specs:- AMD Athalon PC - 1.5 g RAM- Sapphire ATI PCI-Express 512mb video card I get great FPS's on both PC's (50 FPS) but my problem is no matter how I play with the AA, AF and screen resolution settings on the scenery PC I can't get rid of 'shimmering' on buildings and airports when I fly towards them. Would it be worth while trying a new PCI-e graphics card to see if this gets rid of the shimmers ? Any suggestions on a real nice one less than $300 which you know won't give me shimmering ? Hi...tks for the suggestion. I have figured it out now and seems to be fine. You can drag the scenery window smaller in full screen mode and it will be behind the panel so solved it. My plane is the really nice BAC111 by Dave Maltby. I also fly the HS748. I have all the glass cockpit planes but for some reason I enjoy flying these old ones.Tks a bunch....JB

Hi all:I just got Wideview all hooked up. I use 2 PC's - 1 for scenery and 1 for showing the instrument panels (flying PC) When I run the flying PC with the instrument panel in Full Screen mode the gauges look really nice. The problem is I can't get rid of the outside scenery on this monitor (I don't need it on this one as my other PC runs the scenery).I can get rid of the scenery by running in Window mode by undocking the scenery window and minimizing it but the gauges on the instrument panel are really blurry and I can hardly read them.Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this ?Many thanks...JB

Hi all...well I finally got a 2nd super computer for my cockpit (it is a 3.4 AMD Atholon with 80GB hard drive and 1.8MB RAM) which I will use for my outside view and so I can upgrade to better scenery.I have seen scenery add-ons for certain areas like New York, San Fransico etc. but is there a really nice upgrade to improve ALL of FS2004's worldwide scenery ?If you have a suggestion on best upgrades, please let me knowMany thanks...JB

Hi all and a Happy New Year !This may be a dumb question, but I bought a new 3.4 Hz PC for my sim. The PC I had before was a 2.4 and it has all of my fligt sim files - FS9, FSBUS, FSUIPC, my add in planes etc.What is the simplest way to put all this on the new PC ? Do I just burn a CD with the FS9 account and copy it over to the new PC hard drive.Many thanks for your advice...JB

Hi all...I've done a little more checking....1) When I rotate my 100k pot I get readings in FSBUS AD of between 128 and 161922) If I look at the airplane aileron position gauge it shows they are centered at 128 and full right bank at 161923) I don't seem to be able to get the pot to bank left with the settings I have and the full pot rotation...only centered to right bannk !!Any ideas anyone ?Thanks a bunch for your help...JB

Hi all...I made a new yoke out of 2 pots. I am using FSBUS and can't seem to set the aielron and elevator up to neutral when yoke in neutral position. If I look at the plane from the outside my ailerons are constantly in the position to bank right...even though the yoke is centered in my ####-pit. Can anyone tell me the correct FSBUS settings I should have ? Here is how I set them up (but I'm not sure what I'm doing !):MULTIPLIER 95MAX VALUE 16383MIN VALUE 7000 (This is the lowest number I get when I turn yoke)OFFSET VALUE 0CENTER VALUE 118 (Not sure what this means so this could be the problemCENTER WIDTH 5If anyone has any ideas or can point me in the right direction I would certainly appreciate it...all the best....JB

Hi everyone...I have just built a co-pilot's yoke for my King Air sim. It uses two pots - one for elevator and one for aileron and I want to interface it with FSBUS on my system. For my captain's Yoke I use a CH yoke.I wnet to try and install and set up but I have some questions:1) It set up nicely in FSBUS and added FS destinations for elevator and aileron's2) When I try and fly it will not work in FS9.3) I still have the CH yoke installed in FS9 and this runs fine4) Should I be doing something with my FSUIPC ?5) Should I disconnect the CH Yoke completely from FS9 ?6) Any ideas on how to get both working at same time ?Many thanks...JB
