November 29, 200916 yr Hello everyone, I have installed V.Zhyhulskiy's quite wonderful AN-12 package, which I am somewhat indulgently using as an AI aircraft. Problem is (as the screen shot shows), once the aircraft is airborne, the Chocks seem to be floating around at the base of aircraft. I have rummaged through the manual and can't seem to find a way to delete them. Has anyone any bright ideas how to remove them ? They are permantly attached to the wheels when the aircraft is parked, on taxying and take-off too. Many thanks Tristan. Tristan Living in the beautiful Chilterns. November 29, 200916 yr Hello,If I remember .. the schock arresters will disapears if you start correctly the engines (procedure .. procedure :) ) IMHOBut as you use it as AI .. I dunno .... :(Check again all the documentation furnished with this great plane.Regards.Gus.
November 29, 200916 yr Hi TristanI'm wondering why you are using it as an AI when there is an AI AN12 available with low poly count and LODS?
November 29, 200916 yr The chocks are linked to the GENERAL ENG MIXTURE LEVER POSITION:1 .........so not much good for AI. My FS Videos
November 29, 200916 yr Author Thanks everyone. So the chocks can only only be removed after the start up procedure, which means it is a non starter for an AI plane..Oh well. I do have the SKJ model which is great especially with 'Nicks Smoke' package. However, this model and repaint was a bit special. Thanks again for your informative replies. Tristan. November 29, 200916 yr Linking the chocks to the mixture lever was a bad idea IMHO for the flyable model anyway.......If he had linked the chocks to the nav lights you would have been fine as AI as well. My FS Videos
