January 31, 201016 yr Hi all:I fly alot of planes and they are all great. I just found a neat Antonov AN24 plane and downloaded it. Trouble is when I load it up in FS2004 it causes a stutter now and again which I do not get with any other of my planes i.e. freeware or payware. Here is a link to the plane which is a good one:http://www.fsplanet.com/reviews95.htmANyone have any ideas on how to get rid of the stutter with this one ?My system is pretty powerful with 2 GB RAm, GTS250 1GB card and I don't get any FPS hits when the stutter happens ?Many thanks...JB

January 31, 201016 yr Hello,I guess the panel is the culprit.Just make a test ..Rename the panel folder as panel.1create a new folder named panelInside put a panel.cfg with a alias to a bimot panel (or put the entire files of a panel) and test (just for the fun) and see if stutters happend. And for make the plane texture less ressouces demanding .. you can also try convert the plane textures files as DXT3 (Gaussian and sharpen soft as filters)Do not convert the panel files (you can try) .. as usually it's no good visual results.Use the software DXTbmphttp://fly.to/mwgfxRegards.Gus.
