June 16, 200421 yr Has anyone has taken the plunge and tried to "extend" the functions of their CH USB Yoke by adding new buttons/levers/switches?It seems that it would be possible to access the built-in USB interface of the yoke and that this interface likely has room for additional input devices. Anyone already played around with the guts of this system?
June 17, 200421 yr Yes, I did. I added an outside throttle that I built and operate it through the CH Products yoke. Here are some pictures of the CH Products open and one of the throttle assembly I built that is connected via the serial connection on the side of the yoke. The switch on the side allows me to choose the CH Products throttles or the external throttles.Johnhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/80496.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/80499.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/80500.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/80501.jpg JohnMy first SIM was a Link Trainer.
