July 24, 200421 yr Just for some wishful thinking, I jumped into FS and took eight screenshots, one representing every standard view from within the aircraft, with panels off:http://www.turnerdesign.net/wraparound/wraparound.jpgWhat I'm wondering is 1) Why all views line up, except the two forward 45s to the forward (forward is #4, the one with the Sears Tower)?2) What's up with that color difference in #6?Thanks,Andrew H e l p k e e p A V S I M f l y i n g
July 24, 200421 yr Interesting. Not sure about why the images don't match up (it looks to me like the forward view is incorrect, zoomed, or otherwise too high because bringing it lower seems to match the images up fine), but the color thing I have noticed before. When I am flying during sunset hours, moving the hat around to change views in 2d panel mode I notice that the shading is not uniform. One view will have sunset shading, or sometimes 2 or 3 views, while the others will not. It looks exactly like your posted images do. I thought it was strange as well.
July 25, 200421 yr Author Hm.The misalignment may not be a big deal, but the shading bit is a little troubling.I'm gonna goof around with graphics settings to see what happens.Andrew H e l p k e e p A V S I M f l y i n g

July 25, 200421 yr >Just the glass on my monitor!Well i didn't mean glasses on your eyes ;)Some kind of window in the cockpit, maybe made just to look through it.Liners do have them, and to prevent direct sun light from striking retinas, usually the upper windows are heavily coloured.
