January 22, 200521 yr Hi Guys,I see a few companies building hardware for this aircraft. I was wondering if any of these companies are looking into the posibility of creating a plug and play setup. For example: A pre-assembled 737NG overhead. I've seen it (plug and play) for the throttle and FMC.The reason I ask, I want to create a 737-800NG cockpit. However, I do not have the skills required to build, and wire the various components. There was also a company overseas that built fiberglass cockpits as well as a framing kit, are they still around?ThanksMike
January 22, 200521 yr Flight Deck Solutions or FDS is working on shells. Then about the rest you say ...All you need is time & the will go learn .. it will save you a lot of money. If you don't care bout budget .. then .. no, at the moment there are no assembled plug&play overheads. So you'll need to do at least some work. Or else wait a few years .. perhaps then .. (seen that the hardware companies seem to be working hard to produce plug&play goods)
