March 4, 200521 yr >>How about you Claudio, or Toumas?>>Sadly i don't have any inside info :(>I am not all that in contact with Dirk anymore :(>Same here, he's been busy with the design, so all we know is the stuff that's been posted on forums. If you dont want to wait, you could check out IOCards, it looks pretty nice too.//Tuomas

March 16, 200521 yr Rob,How did you go talking to Dirk on the 12-3-05.Did he, or could he give you a release date for the new version FSBus, or do you have any feedback that you can give as to what we can expect with the new version.ThanksDavid
March 16, 200521 yr Hi all,Kind of new concept. New COM pcb, almost the same. Instead of using the PIC now using the Atmel. Better flashing and more possibility for the decimal (.) in the display's. You can change it by software. He will announce it all short after the meeting on his new website. His plan was to do it before but he had other time consuming things to do.Main thing: If your 'old' concept is working with the PIC's no need to change. If you are new, beginner, then i would advise to wait. It's also a very basic concept.Rob-PA7RMhttp://home.hccnet.nl/pa7rm news @ http://simFlight.nl Flightsim news @ www.simFlight.NL
March 16, 200521 yr Rob,thanks for the information about FsBus and Dirk's efforts.I have FsBus running more than a year, but some issues still pending..... :-( Yes, yes i know that Dirk made FsBus for his cockpit and according his free time he updates and work for it, (like Niko and his 767 SDK) and we thank him for his offer! But this is at the same time a problem. Many people are using now Fsbus and they need support, they want updates and Dirk is alone and his free time is not enought. Of course It's not a solution to post in German speaking forum and in some private emails Dirk does not answer also.About new PCBs etc, i'm wondering if old users, like me, with PICs can solve some issues only with the new software update when it will be available. Do you know something about the compatibility?I.E Many people want to have the option to Not display any information in 7-segmemnts, not dashes, not zeros, because they are flying in Vnav mode, so speed must be blank, or because master switch battery is turned off and no electrical power is in the cockpit. Of course there are many other examples from other friends. The issue above it will be solved in next update for the old PCBs?RegardsEddie ArmaosAthens-Greece
