Our friend Fernando Brea has finished a new system for ON-737 project. Now, ON-737 have Fuel and Electric systems finished. This project is a real simulator of boeing 737-800 for X-plane and Fsimulator.ON-737 not build a simulation of operations. ON-737 is a real simulation of components (valves, bus, cables, ...) and interactions. If a component fail, system fail and you can apply abnormal procedures for this fail.ON-737 project have modules for MCP, EICAS, PFD, ND, Radios, CDU... And modules for systems. All systems has been programmed using SIOC over IOCP protocol. You can download a demonstration video of fuel system :http://www.opencockpits.com/modules.php?na...p=getit&lid=230

Good news for all Flightsimmers!!This was an excellent video, showing the system's logic. Many congratulations to Fernando and all the Opencockpit's team for your efforts !!But i have one question : Until today i was thinking that On-737 project was released only for X-plane and we was waiting the Fs2004 version in the near future. Now as i can read you said that on-737 has modules for MCP, EICAS, PFD, ND, CDU etc. They are also available to download for FS2004?regardsEddie ArmaosAthens-Greece

ON-737 project have two parts :Part I: Graphics panels and computer operations. In this moment, we have available PFD,ND,EICAS,MCP,and others modules in beta release for X-plane only... Next release is for X-plane and FSimulator.Part II: Systems. We work in all systems of 737. Two systems (fuel+electric) are availables for X-plane and FSimulator.X-plane is more powerful for simulations. Using MFSimulator we have problems for a real simulation, and ON-737 is designed for a high simulation.

Ok, i can see.... now !It's clear enought, but even the x-plane is more powerful and realistic its major problems is the limited users worldiwide, the eye satisfaction (scenery, panels ets) and final the problem that in every new version changes all the logic and the interfaces with other s/w Is this right? thanksEddie ArmaosAthens-Greece

I thought i read somewhere that X-Plane has a much better flight model but would not be the best choice for heavy jets flying because it has limited interactions with systems. It was pointed that for instance complex jets addons like PMDG would be hard to make for X-Plane.Well anyway i do not remember in wich forum i've read that, maybe it's all wrong...Yes, i guess lot of us are waiting for this release for FS...
