Interact Lcd Monitor

Featured Replies

Would anyone have or know of where one could get a schematic for an interact Mobile Monitor Color Lcd Screen. This was one of the companies that made screens for the PSONE. I have a couple of these and have no idea of where the connections would be for the conversion to VGA input. Any help would be appreciated. Milt

Here's a post about modification of a PSOne screen to add a VGA connection ... look at the pics may be you'll recognize the conectics of your screen ?http://www.bit-tech.net/article/136/1BOBPS The result may be a very poor quality of the display ...A better way is to buy a 5' "GPS" screen for car tuning with a built-in VGA input.

Thanks for answering, Bob. This particular PSOne screen has an RCA video in jack on the back of the case. I believe I can merely make an adapter cable utilizing the S-Video output on my video card. This merely means to connect both ground outputs on the S-Video cable to the ground on the RCA jack, and the other two pins from the S-video cable to the outer jacket of the RCA jack. Will see if this works. I also need to put a 470 microfarad cap is series with one of the lines. Found this tip online while searching under, of course "S-Video". Again, will give this a try and see what happens. Will post here the results. Milt

I tried s-video with a rca lcd monitor and the outcome was very poor resolution.I would say your better off with a monitor that is vga lcd .They have them all the way down to 7" screens .I bought one at http://mp3playerstore.com/Just a thought......
