August 10, 200520 yr The last two 1/2 months I have been busy trying to create a ERJ home cockpit. It has came out sort of generic but, still trying to keep the ERJ 135/145 look. I made the yoke from wood then carved it to resemble the ERj and used the ch products flight yoke buttons and wiring for the guts.I also used the throttle board from the ch products yoke for the throttle which I just spliced in more wiring and moved to another location after ripping it out of the yoke and making another housing. The panel is plastic (white colored) with gray primer and is backlit. The lettering are tags that I had engraved to cut cost rather then engrave on the whole panel which also, leaves for later possible different placement of switches etc. All of the swithces/radios are from go flight which I moded. The LCD panel for the gauges is on a 15" although was made to look smaller by just framing it in. The program I am using for my gauges is the jetline3 by reality xp.All programs are ran of one computer and just open a window and drag to the other screen. I still have some engraving to do and wiring but, hope this weekend I will be back online to fly for Virtual Continental once again.See you in the skies!http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/124413.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/124414.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/124415.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/124416.jpg
August 11, 200520 yr Author Thanks for the comment! Yes,do try to make a yoke besides the variety out there for yokes is little too none.I used two pieces of wood then put them together ,after I routed out the center for the wiring.
