September 1, 200520 yr I'm still in the process of deciding how and what to do for my setup. I want a generic pit using multiple monitors and PC's for guage/panel display and for views. My initial setup will have available:PC1 (probably an A64 4000 cpu, 1-2GB RAM, 7800 graphics card)PC2 PIV 2.8 CPU, 1GB RAM, 9800pro graphics cardPC3 XP2000+ CPU, 512MB RAM, 4600Ti graphics card 3 x 19" monitors for external views2 x 17" monitors for panel views1 x 15" TFT for overhead panel view3 x 10" TFT's for panel popup guages (e.g. GPS, throttle view etc) and stand-alone freeware glass cockpit instruments. I know I need a couple or so PCI cards to drive all monitors but any advice on how to set things up and what options I have?The server/client setups (WideView, LanView (FlightSim Manager)) necessitate running the gauges and panels on the server (since that is the aircraft you are effectively flying).
