  1. Just had the notification from Just Flight, many thanks for the continued updates, much appreciated.
  2. Any chance that is available for us to test?
  3. I haven't seen anything to suggest the career mode works that way unfortunately. Even just the ability to save the location of aircraft and have them dynamically injected into the scenery as WAMA already does is such a great thing. I hope you don't rule it out and I'll continue promoting it as much as I can on other forums.
  4. With FS2024 just around the corner and with what it brings in terms of pilot avatar and aircraft access etc. is there any chance that you will pick up development of WAMA directed at this new version? Say 'yes' please... 🥺
  5. Excellent, had the email informing me of the update. Many thanks for continuing with the development.
  6. Excellent, going to pin off another email to you.
  7. I'm asking! 🙂 I have done by best to promote it too, recommending it where users want more immersion. I think that now, with products like //42 Campout and the 1st person mode of FS Realistic, there's even more scope for it if people knew it was there. I'd love to try the latest version if possible.
  8. Is the MSFS beta still being developed? Haven't seen any updates for a while. I'm using the excellent Campout utility from Parallel 42 together with the first person mode in the latest FS Realistic - WAMA is the glue that would tie them together brilliantly for immersive experiences if it worked 100% and the additional features like cargo etc. worked. Any further plans?
  9. Getting ctd when 'leaving' an aircraft under latest SU10Beta.
  10. Out of interest, how does WAMA achieve a saved aircraft showing up where I left it when I load into the same location with another plane? Is it a saved file in the community folder or elsewhere, it's a very immersive feature. Playing Neofly 4 beta last night. Parked up and 'rented' another aircraft for a mission after saving location with WAMA. Sitting in my new aircraft there is my old plane where I left it, love this.
  11. Sorry. Error relating to Time machine opened in a window, click the button but another window opens. Ended up with 30 or so Windows before force closing WAMA. This was when I opened WAMA after already landed. When I started it before my next flight there was no issue so may have just been a one off. SU10 seems stable for me thankfully.
  12. Getting a repeating open window error when opening with SU10 beta, relating to Time machine?
  13. I really like this app. Pulling up into a parking space next to an aircraft you parked there earlier is something that sounds quite mundane but makes things so much more 'real'. Any further updates on the FS2020 version?
  14. The concept of WAMA is something I've looked for for some time and is great. Hope the work on the FS2020 version will continue.
  15. What directory structures do you have for your user profile stuff, i.e. where the .cfg, logbook and rewards files are?I'm dual booting with XP so want to just create the same environment rather than having to install over the original install just to create the directories and registry settings in Windows 7
  16. Yep, that's the way I was figuring, issue is I'm coming from an existing XP install so don't know what the corresponding user profile directories are under Vista/Windows 7 in order to create them since those directory structures are different under those OS's.May just stick the DVD in there and reinstall, bit of a pain though. Wish they'd move away from an OS based registry towards settings files in the program directory itself. Would make such circumstances far easier in the future...
  17. Thanks for the reply, just to clarify.I have FSX installed on it's own drive (D:) which was installed from within XP so it has created the registry settings and user profiles etc. on the XP system drive.I've now installed and dual boot to a Windows 7 (on a third drive) and would like to run FSX from within it (FS9 runs fine simply by launching the .exe)FSX wont allow that because of registry calls etc.I'm hoping I can just create the Windows 7 user profile directories FSX would do if installed and copy my existing rewards, logbook etc. files there as appropriate and also export the required registry settings from XP and load them into the registry in Windows 7 so that I can run FSX without having to get them there via a complete install of FSX and Acceleration etc.Just need a pointer as to the directory structure required under Windows 7 (would be the same as Vista I assume but different from XP because of the change to user profiles) and also if anyone knows the set of registry keys already so I don't have to go hunting through for them. Thanks!
  18. Like to be able to try out FSX under Windows 7 but really don't want to have to go through the whole install process just so that I can create a few registry entries and file directories since I already have it installed on another drive for use with XP under a dual boot setup.Has anyone just created the neccessary user directories and copied the registry entries required over from their first OS so that it will run without requiring another install over the top...?
  19. Empty RAM is wasted RAM. XP and Vista even more so, are more than capable of managing memory and paging out memory that can be paged (i.e. that which is not kernel reserved). This will be done if required, i.e. you will end up in the same situation when running FSX as if you had manually closed those services using something such as this Alacrity. No disrespect but this is nothing more than a RAM cleaner which is snake oil. Do you honestly think the OS is not capable of managing its memory automatically to the extent that manually closing services would give you more resources? What do you think an OS actually does, this job is one of the fundamental processes of an OS...
  20. You need nothing more than a soft lens cloth slightly damp (water) and then buff it dry with the other side.
