Nvidia overlay doesn't show FPS anymore

Featured Replies

Since the most recent driver update and the update to DLSS 4, the Nvidia overlay does not show FPS anymore. It says its N/A. It shows everything else. I'm wondering if something changed, or is there a way to make it show again?

Mine is working fine, maybe your show fps setting inadvertently got switched to off in the display options....I'm sure you looked, but in case not.

Working okay on mine too.

A couple of times i had that happen, Not sure why, I just rebooted the Puter and all was good in the world

Probably the Nvidia App needs to be updated. It happened once

I’ve been using the Nvidia app and FPS counter for years.  I can’t tell you how many times a day, week, month the FPS disappears.  Sometimes it stays for weeks and weeks, and then some days lucky if it works at all.  A reboot is usually all that is required but as another poster mentioned if two or three kickstarts don’t help it, it probably needs an update.

Hi Lee,
You can try to uninstall/reinstall GeForce Experience. It sometimes helps.
You can also go into Windows Services and restart the 'NVIDIA Frameview SDK Service'.
Both need a reboot.

I use the fps counter provided by Steam.

Mine is stuck at 59. It works normally during loading and then once I'm in ready to fly it goes to 59 and stays there, I don't have Vsync on or a max frame rate set . I have a 180 hz monitor with Gsync on. The GPU and CPU % work. I have tried with Gsync off and it still stays at 59.

There is a new backwards way

choose th game it doesn’t work for then

New Solution for NVIDIA APP Load the game Press ALT + Z bring up side menu Bottom option Statistics Then if your top option is already toggle on then turn it off and back on.
