September 15, 200520 yr Another tricky thing for a beginner...I am going through FSUIPC Key settings, trying to figure out how to set things up, once I have the panels ready.1. Should I use the "On/Off" settings or "Toggle" settings. How does that work with switches of "on/off" and "On/on" type. Should on/on switches be used with "toggle"? Or do I use the "OnPress" and "OnRelease" settings in FSUIPC. Most of these things I can probably figure out myself, but I want to make sure I buy the right type of switches.2. I am having problems finding a few functions in the Key list of FSUIPC:Fuel Pumps for L/R fuel tank (L:FUELBOOST_L, bool)Also the OMF1&2 which handles (L:UMFSW_I, bool)Switch for testing the warning panel (L:Test_W, bool)Fuel test for L/R fuel tank (L:FUELTESTR,bool)Do I use Script Event for this or something similar?I know I am asking a lot right now. It's just that I wan't learn quickly and hope there are a lot talented people here who can help and share their experience! :)Thanks!Roger
September 15, 200520 yr "MS 500E" in reichelt.de is (ein)-AUS-(ein), it's small but cheaper too. Small toggles are a lot cheaper and work just as well, depends on whether you need the "heavy" feeling or not. But remember to have a heavy duty panel too if you use big toggles, so your panel does not fall over when you turn on the landing lights ;-))))What do you mean with on-off rotary? Most of those 12-position rotary switches have a little "tab" that can be used to limit the number of positions the switch can have. So, one of those should work. Or if you mean something else, explain a bit more :)//Tuomas
September 15, 200520 yr Thanks for the tip Tuomas! The SK60 uses rotary knob switches for the panel and instrument lighting. I have found one rotary switch that has two positions; on/off which would work OK, especially if I replace the knob. However, I am interested in finding another option.

September 15, 200520 yr I could and I may do that, but I was thinking of a rotary knob for the FS cockpit. It should trigger "Panel lights" and "Landing lights"./Roger
September 16, 200520 yr Btw, I have a hunch that Key2Mouse can take care of problem #2... Just hoping that there was some way to deal with it using FSUIPC.
September 16, 200520 yr I just tried Key2Mouse, but it seems is doesn't work to well with VC. Seems as if it only captures the coordinates defined in the specific view. If the view is moved, then the coordinates are wrong.I had hoped it would use coordinates defined in the panel.cfg, so that the coordinates are fixed, not relative. Has anyone seen something that works more like described above?
