Hi Tuomas,Of course.Hessel++++++++++++++++++++WideView and IVAO (IVAP) setup, a new proposal. After the famous earlier tutorial form Marco Fantino (see IVAp manual, read it, it's worth !; it teaches a method to synchronize traffic; to "delete" aircraft ghosts and more) I thought it was time, after the release of IVAO's IVAI (a proxy-server), to make the setup even more powerfull. Lots of thanks to Kenny Moens who guided me.With the setup below there is synchronous MultiPlayer traffic, ONE user interface (the window in which you connect and talk to IVAO) on the server pc, which controls also the clients (nice and simple) and last but not least synchronous weather on all pc's via IVAO and NOT via WideView. The advantage of the weather updating to all WideView pc's via IVAO's and not via WideView is that synchronsation of the weather seems more realiable (all pc's have exactly the same input). How to install ?Install IVAI on a pc of your choise (does'nt matter). Download file in IVAO software department.IVAI is a proxy server which means that after starting it, it makes a "way/path" to IVAO. Via that "way/path" it's possible to connect your server to IVAO bij logging in with the server NOT primarily onto IVAO but to the i.p. of the proxyserver (whichis before that moment already connected to IVAO by you). After that also the clients can connect to IVAO via connecting to this proxyserver. In that case you have multiple pc's connected to IVAO, while IVAO "sees" only one connected pc.Install IVAP e.g. as single (for now) pc setup on alle WideView pc's.Install the MTL traffic library on all pc's.How to setup ?IVAI: All default options are OK. Check clients can send and receive packets.IVAP on server:Go in the IVAp directory to Ivapconfig.exe.Un-check single pc setup. The effect is than a Multipc setup. All 3 interfaces the i.p. of this server, so that's simple. In the weather menu check weather is ON.IVAp on clients. o in the IVAp directory to Ivapconfig.exe.Un-check single pc setup. The effect is than a Multipc setup.User interface: ip of the server.Network and FSInterface: i.p. that client. In the weather menu check weather is ON.How to run ?Start IVAI on IVAI pc.Server pc.Start IVAO/IVAP from Fs menu. Automatically the MP session is started via lobby. Nothing to do.Connect to IVAO NOT bij choosing an IVAO server e.g. IVAN DE but clear this field and fill in the i.p. from the IVAI pc. You are now ONLINE.Client pc.Start IVAO/IVAP from Fs menu. An error mesage pops up, about problems with starting Multiplayer. Thats OK !. Press OK and the message is gone. Start now the MP session "by hand", so do: menu flight muliplayer and in most cases there is already visible your MP session. If not search on the i.p. of the server. Now JOIN the session (no observer as in Marco's tutorial but will probably also work).Other client pc; of course the same. Now you have 1 user interface (the IVAO window you are used to) for all pc's on the server. Not (hurray !) on the clients.Type the weather command ".rw" and wait. The first time it takes some more time than further on in you simming session, but the weather synchronises over all the screesn even if you do not have WideView connected ! If necessary repeat ".rw".I personnaly like it very much to start WideView now also......... It's a super program !

Addendum Tutorial (setup much more easy and important : it works even better !)Install IVAP and MTL etc. on all pc's. (www.ivao.aero).Install IVAP as a multipc setup (if you have not done this: no Problem; go to IVAPconfig.exe in the IVAP map and correct there the settings below). On the server (flying pc).All 3 interfaces (Fsinterface, Network interface, User interface) have the ip of this particular pc (so: 127.0.0.1 or the 192.168.X.X). In a DOS window (start - run - type than cmd) "ipconfig" will show it.On the clients:FsInterface : ip of that client pcOther 2 interfaces to the server ip.This makes that there is only 1 user interface for all pc's !Important:Start in the server from the FS2004 menu: IVAO, than the Multplayer session starts automatically. DO NOT CONNCET TO IVAO YET.Start on the clients IVAO, you will see nothing. The only thing is an error message on the server about a not starting MP session. Press OK and clear it the message. On the clients go to Flight - Multiplayer and join the session you will see there.I did not see difference between normal joining and joining as observer. If you have FSNavigator on a client (as I do) than you can also there join the MP session in this program via the options menu.NOW you can connect on the server to IVAO.And immediately thereafter is synchronous weather on all pc's.If not (seldom): command ".rw" (=renew weather) and it's OK.Have fun.Hessel
