Fsbus classic led Boards

Featured Replies

Hi all,I have fskey , fs display boards working succesfully. I cannot seem to get the fsled board working. I can flash the board succesfully. If I use any version of the software the test utility dio / led test does not work. I have tried CID's from 1 to 20 no diff. I have also tried to map a switch fron fskey to fsled. I works in the software on screen but no change in the LED's . I have pulses present on the base of the driver transistor but the pin from the pic to the collector of the transistors never changes. I have traced all the tracks checked for shorts or broken tracks. I would appreciate any help or suggestions.RegardsAndre

Hi George,Thank you for your reply.Yes I have links in at the top of the board. The problem is that with an oscilloscope there's no change on the pic port pins going to the led. I do see the pulses on the base of the transistor. The port pin stays low so the led can never switch on.Regards

OK...So... As I can see it, it's either a bad programming or a bad PIC itself? Did you try a different IC ?There was a case were the IC was faulty from production and although it seemed it was flashed ok, it actually did not even work.George DorkofikisAthens, Hellashttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/811520/1704.png

I once had a similar problem with my FSLED board. It worked once, then I disconnected the cable once and it wouldn't work anymore. Since then I have a new FSCOM NG and my classic FSLED works fine.Sorry I can't be of more help but I think the FS boards are like our wives ! (A little tempramental and hard to get moving sometimes !!)JB
