for my new small home cockpit.After months of new research, PCB design and waiting for exotic parts (like those SMD LEDs), I am proud to present to you the heart of my FMC/CDU after it completed the electronics tests successully.The IOCards setup consisting of the USB Expansion and one (out of four) mastercards are clearly visible.You can see the backlighting test here. The FMC PCB is connected to the master card and occupies all it's input (actually 3 unused) via a 24pins flat cable and a converter PCB of my own design. Everything is passed to the FMC via the flat cable. Power for the backlighting, the outputs and of course all the message leds (EXEC, MSG, OFFSET and DSLY FAIL).I will post more pics once I have it assembled with the screen and plexi in place.At last... Another successfull lighting test.
