October 31, 200619 yr I've slowly ventured into the sim-pit world using 3 computers and the wideview program.on my main computer, i have an Asus A8v deluxe with an AMD 64 3000+ and 1g corsair 3200 with winXPpro sp2.i've been using, for my primary, forward display, a 6800gt agp card. i just bought a 6200 pci card to use for my instrument displays. i re-installed the latest nvidia driers (91.47) to see if it would solve my problem, but didn't.what's happening is as soon as i load up the flight sim and, while in windowed mode, undock and move a panel to the pci's screen my computer locks up and i have to hit the reset button on the case. I'm not sure if its the pci card, a driver issues, or a setting somewhere.in my previous computer, i used my ati 9700AIW agp card along with a ati 7500 pci card for the same setup. it worked fine, but with low performance due to the older cards.i have talked to others who use similar nvidia setups with a 5200 pci card along with a 6 series agp card.any advice or help would be much appreciated. i think what i may try next is remvoing my agp card to see if the pci card by itself will load up the sim. if it freezes by itself maybe there is a problem with the card. it was an ebay purchase, so i may not have chosen wisely.thanks!!!-Nate

November 1, 200619 yr thank you for the link. i will try it.i pulled out the agp card to test the pci card individually. it doesn't run any games at all without locking up. i then tried running dxdiag and the card didn't pass the directdraw test. it had severe artifacting. i think the card may be bad so i will contact the seller who guaranteed it would run games.
