hello folks out there im needing a site where i can build my own bass feel into my pilot seat , so i can feel the rumble of the plane or the landing of my plane.im sure you can build one from spekers and such, is there a way i can add a woofer to the chair.Thanks......Robert

There are special 'speakers' for that purpose.I have two of those over here, each weighing about a kilo. They produce almost no noise but lots of vibrations.Bought them here:http://www.pollin.de/shop/detail.php?pg=NQ==&a=MTY2OTUzOTk=I do shuttle launches with these, and believe me, you really get the sensation of sitting on top of those engines.

HelloThis might be another solution:http://www.thebuttkicker.comI don't have experience with this product, but looks promising.

I have this. It's great. I used to have the speakers but the Butt Kicker is much better.Gerry

Hi Robert, Indeed you can use old speakers to build tactile transducers. All info to do this (including amplifier, ect) can be found on my website. http://www.simprojects.nl/transducers.htmRoland

Roland, it is good to see that you are still around and involved in simpits. You were one of the biggest inspirations to this 59 year old. I printed out your original

My first SIM was a Link Trainer. My last was a T-6 II
AMD Ryzen 7 7800 X3D@ 5.1 GHz, 32 GB DDR5 RAM - 3 M2 Drives. 1 TB Boot, 2 TB Sim drive, 2 TB Add-on Drive, 6TB Backup data hard drive

Thanks for the kind words John, Likewise I have learned so much from others, so it feels good to be able to share my tinkering with the community. Have fun reading. Roland
