Avionics Schematics

Featured Replies

I just received my GoFlight GF 166 Radio Module and it is sure nice to have actual knobs to turn for frequencies. I am wondering if anyome has schematics for other modules such as transponder, ADF,DME,Audio Panel etc. If so I would appreciate if someone could send the files for those.I would like to try and build them if possible. Thanks .. any info appreciated. ... It is not a matter of schematics so much as coding. The electronics to display a transponder are the same as the electronics to display a radio freq. The code that tells it where to get and send the information to flight sim is a bit different. You might want to look at Mike Powell

Thanks John.. I am new at this and can be counted on to ask stupid questions. LOL I am aware of opencockpits and FSBus, I am building the pcb's for FsBus and I guess I err to the side of caution as there is so much info to digest. For me right now it is how to make the physical layout for the boards that is a problem,I am trying to learn how to use some of the design programs as well. Anyway, thanks for your feedback,it is all helpful for us newbies.. Oh by the way I bought Mike's book and it is excellent. Thanks Bob

Mike's book is excellent. He is a great friend of cockpit builders. Never worry about asking dumb questions. There are no dumb questions. That is how you learn. I am a retired military pilot, engineer and have a master
